Should have cleaned that vinyl first and then applied Last Factory's Record Preservative.As well as using Stylast stylus treatment.

As a fellow collector I can understand the debate of do you or don't you open it. I have determined that real fans open it and collector/investors don't. I am currently having this same debate with a sealed MFSL copy of Atom Heart Mother (Pink Floyd).

sure is a Rega P1. I have one and is very satisfied, but if you have the money I would go for a P3 in a nice colour.

Rega P1 can be considered the best budget turntable in the market...just excellent by the price you pay..if want something better, go to the P3...much better ( but more expensive too )
