Subi is around 30k and tc is around 18k.. Spend 7k on mods in the tc and you will be kicking subi ass..I myself drive a tc with a h/I/e fuel injectors, tein suspension and a TRD supercharger and my cousin drives a subi sti...stock turbo stock everything except intake and exhaust and it's a neck to neck race
@estebanj2 I aint tring to be rude or nothing... But My tc has been turboed and tuned at 10 psi for 4 years now... I havent had any problems wat so ever... if you turbo the car the right way it doesnt matter wat it is it will be fine...

So, if your goal is to get to X time at the drag strip or X:xx time on the road course, the Juice IS worth the squeeze, cause it has been done, and it can be done. I have a turbo tC myself, and their track record in Time Attack and other motorsports are not a laughing stock when they take the championship trophies home in their class. If you paid attention to motorsports, you would know that. I have vid not loaded yet of PTuning's tC running only a sec behind Forged Performances R35 GTR.

Btw I'm not a Civic fan but it is just a good comparison. A mere 2.0L producing 197HP.

Pick up the latest Modified Mag and read the article about their tuner shootout. When you get to the dyno section, you will read who the Dyno champ was last year....short story...World Racing was, with a bad ass numbers of 713whp/702wtq. You think a Honda is going to put that much Torque out with it's HP....not a chance. WR didn't make it out this time as they were still re-developing the car for this year. This years dyno champ in the shootout still didn't beat what they did. NSX at 650whp

dude, the tC has a 8 psi stage "1" turbo. Thats pretty much equal as the STi's stock turbo and the exhuasts on both cars. So this race is basically equal mod'ed cars and yet the tC wins. Props.

Well ima tell u the truth the reason girls get scions is b/c its a nice looking car and its half of the evos price.But i know hundreds of girls that would prefer to drive an evo but the price holds them bak so they get a tc.Plus to tell u the truth i would buy a tc for 18 grand and an evo cost about 32 grando so that leaves bout 14 grand in my pocket and with that 14 grand in the engine of the tc ill tell u waht theres no evo or sti that can touch me!!!!

dude, the tC has a 8 psi stage "1" turbo. Thats pretty much equal as the STi's stock turbo and the exhuasts on both cars. So this race is basically equal mod'ed cars and yet the tC wins. Props.

what I'm saying is it costs less money than an STI just to make it capable of beating one, that's all. And no, I don't own a TC, but I want to get one and add this turbo kit to it or a Dezod Kit. or maybe i'll buy one of the new Lancers for 16k and wait for the RRM Turbo Kit to come out. Add the 3,700k RRM kit to the base line Lancer putting it to a grand total of around 20k, and it will be able to beat the Turbo Lancer Ralliart which is going to be about 25k. I like to save money, sorry.
