I can't remember where I heard / read this but my understanding is all vocals on ( He's a rebel ) were sung by Darlene Love and her younger sister Edna Wright !

The Crystals had three lead singers Barbara Alston- Lala Brooks-Darlene Love everyone knows that BUT dose everyone know the lead singer of the group Honeycone ( WANT ADDS ) is the younger sister of Darlene Love real name Darlene Wright !

I really like this song, and I noticed P. Spector's name as the one of the writers. No wonder this group reminds me of The Ronettes. I can listen to The Crystals all day, without being duct-taped to a chair. This is GOOD stuff!!!! Thanks,PJ!!!

One of my favorites by the Crystals too! Love it, I had bought a copy on ebay it was in fine condition but broke in shipping and I made a vid of it anyway.. after I glued the 2 pieces together.. lol..

Ahhh, yes.. I had forgotten all about that. This is pretty rare on the orange label, although there's a really rare and whacky variation most people don't know about... There's a light blue issue that was pressed in stereo. The label and matrix numbers don't give any indication that it's a stereo record, but it is. The audio goes back and forth haphazardly between the right and left channels. Phil was probably screwing around like he always was, lol. I'll post that one too.
