Ah, the politics over the epic weapons in EQ, how I do not miss it. I never gave too much of my time to reach epic raids/planes, but I do miss the game sometimes. Waiting 15 min for a dungeon re-pop I do not miss. Memories! :)
I like how the GM's talk, they talk like they are real people talking to other real people. Unlike now a days, GM's just copy paste shit and don't care what you say, every response is a copy paste and that's it. I think that's another reason I loved EQ so much, it felt more like home rather than another world.

OWCH after reading those screenshots... It seems like GMs were harsher back then than they are now... Iirc that GM was wrong though, Whoever has first hit on a mob has loot rights (even if they did not slay it) and the person who hits second can get in trouble for KS'ing. =/

the group of 6 people that got the kill shot are the onle ones allowed to loot the heart...but they did not have a cleric and the heart is onl good for a cleric...we helped with the kill but did not get the kill shot..and we took the heart..as I was the only cleric there and it was for cleric epic.

my son tried to sell his EQ1 and EQ2 accounts on ebay and they got banned..so nto only did he not get any money for them but he lost both accounts and I was paying for them and they still had play time left on them.

well if u wanna quit eq, its the hardest thing ive ever done but u can do it, but if u only do eq and nothing appart basic essentials to survive in the outside world u need to talk to a psychologist for your good, eq isnt a problem u can play it but u just need to learn how to do other stuff as well
