  • you're vegan but you eat honey??

  • I want to start a vegan diet, my current diet consists of wayy too much meat and unhealthy things. I don't know where to get most of the healthy foods though, and no one else my family really cares about trying to buy healthy things for me xD

  • @Its0mar as long as you are running and are active it doesnt matter where you get your food, although a better diet can enhance results

  • @BeepimajeepBeep yeah I know, but its so much better to eat healthy along with exercise instead of just exercise and not change my diet.. I guess that's what I want. Giving up meat is something im trying to do, who knows how long that it'll last haha

  • I am a vegan and about 55-70% raw... I am better than the soy hogs though....

  • Thank You for sharing your daily diet. I could see myself eating exactly the same and enjoying it.

  • Great video.

    Houseofvegan . wordpress . com

  • I eat in a tipical day:

BREAKFAST: a cup of dry oatmeal mixed with all of this: tablespoon of honey, sunflower seeds w/ no shell, tablespoon of rasins, a hand of walnuts and a apple or 4oz. apple sause. SNACK:applesauce or apple with water

LUNCH:A cup of brown rice with a cup of my home made soup! soup consists of: red beans, pinto beans, squash, zucinni, onion, tomatoes, spices.

    DINNER:

I eat the same thing I had for lunch!

  • Im so glad to see this video! I have recently become vegitarian and was feeling a little freakish when I tell people what I eat in a day. They thought I was starving, but actually ...... Im not starving at all.

  • Oh, and honey is not vegan and vinegar is probably not raw.

  • 99.9% of nuts sold in U.S. that are claimed to be raw are actually NOT! Prove it to yourself. Soak those almonds in water for a day or two and you will see that they won't sprout.

  • @IronCobra22 interesting. Even if they are unsalted and unroasted? What about walnuts, are they only raw if they are still in their shell?

  • your forehead is brown :)

  • your beautiful girl!(:

  • probably a stupid question but I'm Just curious...if you only use a small portion of an avocado..how do you keep the rest of it fresh and from turning color?

  • @percaine Squeeze lemon juice on the open flesh - it prevents it form oxidizing and going brown, however the colour doesn't affect the flavour, and putting on lemon makes it taste like lemon!

  • Thanks for sharing the recipe and experiences. Only recently I've become smoothie obsessed because I now have a Vita-mix. Keep living it up!

  • holy moly shes hot what a face i'd be all over her like moles on grandma

  • Random, but I love the shape of your eyes.

  • @edeneating, I hate to be so caught up in looks, but... that's what I was thinking when I first looked at her.

  • I am not well informed about other people but I can tell you that my loved ones had enormous accomplishment with DietOramy excess weight reduction plan plan (google it, there are lots of data regarding this) - every one of us work with it and our docs are shocked with the benefits that followed so fast.

  • Hey! I just found your channel and subscribed. I am in need of finding face wash, body wash, shampoo, and things like that, that are vegan and cruelty free that I can find at my local walmart or target. If you have any suggestions pleasseeee let me know or do a video for it! Thanks!!

  • fuck that diet...its not enough

  • Am I the only one who burst out laughing when she said 1 large banana and 2 huge kiwis? XD

  • Wow, So young and som much plastic.

  • I tell you best DIET!

Eat whatever you want but always have to have balance and eat little 6~6 time a day.

If you think over eat it exercise hard and burn more calories.

Whole wheat or organic or whatever people r eating but if you eat more than you should means nothing.

  • lemme guess half the people watching this video were peer pressured into being a vegan or their friends wouldn't think their cool anymore? BINGO. fuck you faggots.

  • i love your eyes

  • raw natural honey? is that vegan..

  • @sexytubes honey is not vegan....

  • @spineless93 she needs to change the title cuz it's not a true raw vegan diet.

  • @sexytubes

Raw foodism Food from all food groups, heated to temps below 120 degrees F

Raw veganism Fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, sprouted grains and legumes

Raw vegetarianism Fruits, vegetables, sprouts, seeds, grains, legumes, dairy, eggs, honey

Fruitarianism Fruits, nuts, seeds, and sometimes sprouted grains and legumes

  • very nice, thanks for sharing. You're a saint to put up with some of the insipid comments posted here from people on the Standard American Diet lol

  • im a teen, do you think it would be unhealthy for me to be vegan? Because i need my calcium and protien and stuff, but i can get that from veggies and soy products right?

  • you don't work ...I see

  • @jacopolapo lol, why do you say that? I´m actually a busniess owner...

  • @flores50588 There´s actually TONS of protein in plant based foods. Just do a little more research and you´ll figure that out! (: xx

  • @flores50588 Holy shit are you retarded? Maybe you should stop eating a pure meat diet.

  • @flores50588 Its actually the most beneficial to get your protein, which is awesome :)

  • @flores50588 I can't believe how ignorant people can be when it comes to food.

  • @flores50588 oh my god! check out Bill Pearl do you think he didn't get enough protein to win his 31 awards? Ignorant people get on my nerves... go read a book

  • @flores50588 well it might not make "sences", but it does indeed make SENSE because many plant based foods are high in protein.

  • Exactly. Lots of protein found in a variety of sources OTHER than meat. Also- where are you getting your information on protein and how much you need daily, etc.? The food pyramid is a government recombination...mmm interesting how they also want you to eat lots of dairy & have interests tied up in the dairy and meat industry. Something seems fishy to me!

  • @flores50588 not true brotha

  • @flores50588 You're miss informed, there is actually plenty of vegan food options that will exceed your bodies protein needs.

  • @flores50588 1, she is a stone cold fox, and is clearly getting enough nutrition from her diet, 2. Proteins are comprised of amino acids. Our bodies have to break proteins back down into those amino acids. Fruits and vegetables are filled with aminos, so in that way more accessible for our bodies to get partial parts of proteins from those aminos than whole meat proteins. Also, Plant based proteins are entirely digestible, only a fraction of meat based proteins are digestible.

  • @flores50588 idiot.

  • i just came from an animal slaughtering video, done with that shit! im not a savage plus salad is good anyway

  • for all those vegans who are anti-honey, you can make a balsamic reduction [1-2 cups balsamic vinegar simmered until it is reduced to a syrup-like texture]. this brings out the natural sugars and kills two birds with one stone!

  • yummy smoothie - you look healthy and glow-y

  • I'm about to be a vegan at least try it out for a while. I love my cheese but they are so fatty so hoping to cut it out that I can become healthy. * I love my water and veggies so hoping it will go well. Looking at a lot of YouTube videos for more personalized touch.

  • Honey isn't vegan though?

  • @WikidLovely Many vegetarians eat so close to a vegan diet that they consider themselves vegan even if they are slightly "off". Technically it is not vegan, but to each his own (or her!). :)

  • as a vegan christian for the last 25 years and fruitarin in summer GOD gave us this temple and its our responsibilty (not some stupid building)to take care of it i don't go to so-called church im tired of these so-called christians that all you have to do is pray over your food then its ok GOD will BLESS IT like HELL he will then its ok if i pray over my cigs and alcohol and drugs GENESIS 1:29 is GODS (JESUS) diet and ther was no SIN in the world so thays for all time the ESSENE GOSPEL of PEACE

  • @basilsunshine if you can't eat more than that then you should definitely not eat a raw diet. Start reading any material from jeff novick,dr.mcdougall, esselstyn, and dr.campbell and you will understand that mercola's nutrition info is garbage.

  • @basilsunshine dr.mercola is a quack and a supplement pusher. His nutrition info is garbage and he has never published any studies. Dr.campbell, mcdougall, jeff novick all debunk him by referencing actual peer-reviewed studies. Mercola does have some good info on vaccines though but you don't need his garbage supplements. His "nutritional types" is just more dogma

  • try these dressings! 1 red bell pepper 1 large orange 1 avocado 2 cloves garlic - thai basil lime ginger dill two sweet oranges chia seed powder. and of course you just put how ever much you like as far as ingredients. the last one is a dressing that Dan McDonald showed and i modified it. it was originally just basil, ginger, lime juice.
  • Oh god people shut UP about what's vegan and vegetarian and what's raw diet and what's not! Who really cares? As long as you're healthy and eating the BEST possible choices you can make then my gosh just relax! Who cares if honey is made by bees? It doesn't harm them now does it? So shush please you're annoying the rest of us

  • @Tessaluvsyew well, that depends, some bee keepers don't really let them have a free "normal" life as they would have in the wild, which means it's interfering with their lives, they are working and producing honey for humans as opposed to themselves.

  • @Tessaluvsyew actually it does harm them, the population of bees has decreased by 40% for 10 years now. It is over exploitation in my opinion

  • @Tessaluvsyew Choose the right way...or you might as well join the illuminate

  • Before I saw your videos where you went 100% raw overnight, I was 95% for 3 months. Now I've been 100% for 2 weeks. There are so few long term rawies out there, we need to stick together!

  • @TheFreak147 aren't really vegan either.

  • @TheFreak137 I'm not vegan, I'm just vegetarian and try to exclude as much dairy products as possible. But you really need to get your panties out of a wad.

  • @TheFreak137 well there are plenty of vegans that I know who very well consider it vegan. So what, just because they eat no animal products whatsoever and then maybe every once in a while indulge in honey they're not vegan? Thats insane. You do realize that honey bees are responsible for pollination and that if they died out, scientists have said that the human population will die out in 5 years? If honey really isn't vegan, then I guess all the crops you eat that you consider vegan, aren't rea

  • @ballet236 it's in dispute for many vegans and some eat it some don't. Personally, I consider honey vegan.

  • @vintagebabe101

No, honey is not vegan. Anything that is an animal or animal by-product is not vegan. Honey is an animal by-product, therefore it is not vegan. I has nothing to do with being a "personal attribute". If you want to eat a 100% vegan diet then you don't eat animals or their by-products, including honey. If you want to live a vegan lifestyle then you don't use animals or their by-products in any way as much as practically possible. Not trying to be rude but that's the definition.

  • @TheFreak137 um sorry you don't use animals or their by products? yeah okay did you know that plants use animals poop for their nitrogen cycles? just by eating plants you have used animals by products. okay what about bread? yeast is an animal that convert turns the carbs in bread to other carbs. I don't think the definition of vegan is accurate on your part.. btw what's up with this raw almonds. Those can't be bought in the US and are toxic. :P what ev

  • @ixdani it's kind of a personal attribute for vegans. Some vegans eat it some don't. I personally think it's vegan.

  • eating 100 grams of beans everyday bad? how can it be bad though its natural food

can you also help me with seeds

how do i eat flax seeds and sesame seeds.. i am a hybrid eater a newly interested athlete in raw foods but i do eat some meat .. but i love the diea of living food! .. please feel free to message me and help me out! there are no one in the forums i know that are good with vegan

  • @TheRogueMonk legumes might fit in a similar category as some other lightly poisonous plant foods, like some mushrooms or berries that wont kill you but cause toxicity or minor illness. but beside that, they take a long time to digest because they are a starch and protein all in one food. however you may soak and sprout beans before you cook them and this neutralizes most of the enzyme inhibitors and acids.

  • wow, clear, concise & nicely done. very helpful. thanks.

  • Great video! What do you eat when you feel like having something hot, or more textured chewy foods that are similar to pasta?

  • you eat like no protein. . .

  • @LinzeeDesper there is protein in the sun flower seeds and you would be amazed how much protein actually is in fruit.

  • How many times do you poop a day?

  • The reason she doesn't count her calories is because she's getting it all from fat: Avocado, nuts, and coconut. If I ate that way, I would have yeast coming out of my ears!

  • I thought honey was considered an animal product?

  • are you happye?

  • I thought honey wasn't vegan?

  • Hi Liz

How did you go into a raw food diet?

  • love it... I can not wait until I get my diet right. I have 2 questions though. 1) I have to watch out on the amount of fruit I eat (had a candida issue) so, what would you suggest.

    2) In your morning smoothie do you ever add protein? If not, where do you get your protien source from?

    Thank you so much!

  • @mommashopper Fruit has protein in smaller amounts. With the amount of fruit she eats, she gets plenty of protein, not to mention the occasional nuts and seeds she eats.

  • @redloveballoon yes, they do have protein in them; however, I find that I feel better with a little more protein in my diet. I probably will add some hemp protein to my shake in the morning. I still have to be careful with the types of fruits I am eating. I can not wait until I can hear my body again. :-)

  • Thanks so much for your Vegan diet videos, they are really helpful and very interesting! You eat so healthy and thats why you look so amazing. You are a true inspiration Liz.

  • This was fun to watch, thanks so much for sharing. You're adorable and I just love your cute little dish you used for the salad dressing. I hope you are doing well, I know this is an older video but wanted to send some love and all of God's blessings! Take care, God bless.

  • Love your channel and all your videos!

  • You are so inspiring!

  • @andresrojas22 myth: a balanced diet must include meat

  • “I definitely support Whole Foods, and believe in your products, but I am a little shocked to hear what has gone on with the New Chapter Bone Strength product and ingredient switching. If this article is true then I don't understand how Whole Foods could let this happen? This should be addressed.”

  • @andresrojas22 False.

  • @andresrojas22 a balanced diet doesn't have to include meat but i kinda agree with you. this isnt balanced cos there should be some other proteins or carbohydrates...

  • I've watched other raw vegan diet daily videos and they don't look yummy and discourage me from wanting to pursue it, but your video makes it look so yummy!

  • Would love to see more of these "what you eat in a day" videos. Gives me great food combo ideas! Thanks so much!!

  • .....calories in fruit and ice?

Who cares!? It's FRUIT AND ICE!!

  • You are beautiful! But you should really read 80/10/10 and you may change your mind about counting calories. Eat more fruit and less fat.

  • @82Bdog I've read it and now eat 80/10/10! Thanks for the info! (:

  • @CharmedElegance Check out Dr. Mercola's nutritional types. Following 80/10/10 would make some people VERY SICK. The brain needs healthy fats. I think you were doing the right thing by listening to your body.

  • @82Bdog I made this video in the very beginning of my journey with raw food.. I know follow 811 and have never felt better! :D xx

  • you should try using frozen bananas instead of just a banana and ice. trust me when you try it you will never go back

  • you should add kale and baby spinach to your smoothies, they're rich in calcium and essential minerals.

  • enjoyed this video

  • have you ever do a blood test? do you have anemia? i wanna try this raw diet but i don´t wanna have anemia, sometimes your blood level decrease with this type of diets...

  • @javieraw so not true! there is more iron in raw foods(greens, sesame seeds, etc) than any other diet. same with almost any nutrient, including protein and calcium. most of these misconceptions are fueled my the meat and dairy industry, call me a conspiracy theorist if you want but it makes a world of sense to me.. i know your comment was a long time ago, but i thought i would debunk this anyway just in case. while im at it, im reading a great book right now-Raw Food Controversies!

  • OMG! I gotta try that dressing: olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic (you just leave it there for a while and then remove it?) and some honey?? is that right?...I love love love salads, although I don't think I'd be able to eat that healthy, I love candy too much! lol but I do excersise quite a lot too =)

  • wow i stumbled on this but it made me think i actually eat like crap excuse me! I'm male, 21 and eating right is not something that my family does AT ALL!!

Its hard 2 get healthy things shopping cause i just go 2 school no income and my dad is on a fixed budget and no 1 eats healthy and i can't make my stubborn family want 2 do what i do so iam basically screwed. But i feel sluggish and feel like iam in a hole healthwise jeeeze.

  • Does your husband eat a raw diet as well? And if he doesn't how do get around preparing his meal and then yours. I know this can be difficult. I eat diffrently than my husband and son. They prefer more meat and I prefer more salads and raw foods in general. I still eat some fish though. I haven't touched redmeat in over 20 years and really don't miss it.

My husband would hate to eat sunflower seeds and dried cranberries for dinner. lol I really have to plan two different menus.

  • @luloops I think she was eating sunflower seeds and dried cranberries for a snack during the movie (like someone might eat popcorn) I don't think that was her dinner.

  • @hipretty I guess she didn't show what she had for dinner after all then? Because after Liz ate the pineapple and grapes she said it would keep her until Dinner. Cut into the movie time and snacks, my assumption was that she would show her Dinner as well but I guess she didn't after all.

  • @luloops i think that WAS her dinner for that day because at the end she says what she would have typically of had...

  • @luloops my dinner was the sunflower seeds and dried fruit... It´s not my typical dinner so that´s why I showed what I would normally eat for dinner... (:

  • @CharmedElegance Got it. But my real question (haha) was whether Arturo also eats a raw diet. I struggle because I really try to eat a raw diet but it's difficult when your SO doesn't eat the same way and not to mention my teenage son. We eat very healthy don't get me wrong but I tend to want to eat a more raw diet. I tend to "blow" my diet when I prepare dinner for them or when my husband (who loves to cook) makes dinner.

  • I really enjoy your videos

  • PS can I come over for lunch??? The salad looks awesome! :-)

  • Hi Liz...Happy October!!! Or is that Octubre feliç in your neck of the woods? :-)

  • Liz your skin is glowing! You look beautiful! :-)

  • I lovelovelove these videos! how long have you and arturo been married for?

  • mmmmm that salad looks soooo good! i must try it with that dressing!

  • You've inspired me to eat healthier and listen to my body :)

  • Why don't you eat meat? And since you don't eat meat, what do you eat to get your protein?

  • @GirlWithTheAngel06 There is protein in raw almonds, nuts and seeds in general.

Hemp and Flax seed/meal has lots of protein and of course green, leafy greens.

  • You are very strong girl )))

  • Great video Liz, very helpful !

Your hair and skin look amazing !

  • thanks for this great video liz...i love your videos. do you sometimes eat warm food? because sometimes i just love to eat warm food because it feels so good...

    have a lovely day.

    xoxo sabrina

  • Hi Liz, very interesting video. I loved the idea of the smoothie and also that yummy-looking salad. I laughed "the garlic that I removed, 'cause I am too nice....": that was funny. Kisses, Bianca.

  • You are such an inspiration! Can't wait to see the coconut date roll video! :)

  • Awesome video Liz!!!!! Thank you so much!! :-)) can't wait for the recipe for the coconut rolls, they look soo yummy!!!! Thank you for spreading the "health" word for the benefit of everyone who wants to make a change in life and to make a transition in point of view, that is such a huge positive thing! You are making a huge positive impact!! Thnx, XOXO

  • @TheStyleGlossary You´re so welcome! (: I´m so glad that I´ve inspired you to become healthier! xx

  • @CharmedElegance Where's your calcium and protein. You're b12?

  • wonderful as always Liz! you have truely inspired me to be more healthy! please keep the wonderful videos coming and by the way you look stunning as always! xx =D
