for years I sat in meetings hearing this song in my mind-I saw it today for the first time in years, Peter Pan advice, all grown up and..., don't ask for help..,-I think have made me jump.

@MultiFlyingPotatos Hi you can watch me play I've loved these days by: Billy Joel by typing in, youtube, Jake D. I've loved these days. Oh by the way I'm the kid that is 10 years old. I'm the one playing the piano in the blue shirt.
I just "discovered" this song yesterday. I listened to it all through school today. and I always sing that one line if I start singing haha. All of his songs...well not all but a good amount. Somehow relate to my life. He is by far my favorite artist.
I remember watching this back in the 80"s and thinking "wow, what an awesome video" and I watch it today and think the same thing. What a great video ! Great artist!
@pdmullgirl // yeah, I think we were quite progressive even back then. I remember when watching MTV videos was the thing to do... English was not my first language but things like these made me want to learn it. You wanted to learn because the concepts were so interesting that you HAD to know what was all about. I did not pay thousands for any class or course to learn, just kept watching artists like Billy for the lessons!!
@pdmullgirl There are a lot of awesome videos from the early years of MTV, especially the year 1982 that get overlooked and forgotten (so many people think that the great videos didn't start until Michael Jackson's Billie Jean video released in early 1983.) Two others that I rank up there with Billy Joel's Pressure from that year of 1982 are Asia's for Heat of the Moment & the Motels for Only the Lonely.
I remember being shocked at how much weight Billy Joel suddenly seemed to have put on the first time I saw this video, back in the day....
It's most noticeable on the white 'living room' set, right around the 1:49 mark, as he's getting pulled down through the floor.
Does anybody know what, if anything, was going on in his life during that time, and what (other than his eating habits) might have been responsible for the sudden weight gain ???
its all about our crazy life. The modern civilization make us mad and nervous. Billy said about it 30 years ago. I`m Russian, but this theme is actual for us too.
I LOVE THIS SONG!!! And I want to thank you for uploading the longer version of it! My Greatest Hits CD only has the shorter version of "Pressure." Have not heard the long version in years! The video is stunning!!!!
Billy Joel, for being rather non-committed and even non-interested in his spiritual beliefs (you can research his religeous upbringing and beliefs online), sure uses spiritual seeking themes in his music.
My friends don't believe me that this song could be redone with a metal edge to it and it would sound awesome. Please, if someone sees this that is a musician, plz consider doing it, then I will show your vid to my friends and say, "Look, this coulda been YOU trying this! HAHA! " LOL.

@happyclown25 well then, my friend, you need to quit that shitty job and find one that isn't going to kill you. I recommend being your own boss. @hospitalbedpan1 your name says it all. I wish I was a food-stamp leeching welfare whiner instead of one who pays taxes so they can exist. I've never worked @ Walmart & never will. KMA.
@rubyslippers224 your not supposed to skip the ads jackass. You expect free music with no ads? Who pays the artist? Oh wait, you are probably one of those food stamp leeching welfare whiners who want everything handed to you.
No ads = monthly subscription.
If your internet can't handle the ads, then maybe it's time to upgrade your job skills and leave wal-mart? I'm so tired of people complaining about vevo without understanding the real reason it's there.
@hospitalbedpan1 artists? ohhhh I got ya! the CON artists. match stick men. well they pay themselves I imagine. no one pays billy joel shit . the artists rarely see a fraction of what the production company makes, and vevo isn't either thing. they just liscence and buy rights for use. they dont actually create anything. lol. so misguided it hurts.
@brudswick Although you are right, none of the money goes to Billy Joel from these ads but those ads do keep the video service up.Youtube is running a pretty big operation and it costs a lot of money to do this. The ads are annoying but they are a small price to pay for the convenience of having youtube around.
@hospitalbedpan1 skipping ads makes somebody a "food stamp leeching welfare whiner", tell me the logic behind that. you are very judgmental, vevo has not always been on youtube, and when vevo was not on youtube there was no monthly subscription you are talking about. and whats with the walmart comment and your vendetta against the poor, how is it possible to judge a persons work habits, by a comment they put on youtube about how they dislike vevo. outright disrespectful, control your self.
This video is the one thing Billy Joel has in common with the group Missing Persons, both are American acts that filmed a music video in the UK in 1982. Billy did it with this song while the Missing Persons did it with the song 'Destination Unknown'

I hate the ads at the beginning of videos! Especially when not given the option to skip them!!!
That said, great song & great video.
