  • Lennon... you really fucked yourself up with your Asian fetish.

  • Poor John Got hook bad on hsi first asian

  • Ok. I Have to say this because it fucking pisses me off. All who dickheads who blindly defend Yoko don't fucking get it. "Well if you're dissing yoko you're dissing John" "He loved her so you should like her"

NO I'm fucking sorry but those are buillshit statements. I love John Lennon. He is one of my idols but that does not mean in any stretch of the imagination that I HAVE to like Yoko because of that. He lived without her for the first 27 years of his life.

  • I play that sound at 0:27 min wonderful

  • i don`t like yoko even because of: give peace a chance - single by Yoko Ono,track-list: Blow-Up Popism Mix (5:00) Blow-Up Electrono Mix (6:44) Kimbar Vocal Mix (8:11) Kimbar Dub Mix (6:54) Tszpun Remix (8:17) Tszpun Dub Mix (8:11) Alex Santer Peaceful Mix (6:11) DJ Meme Club Mix (9:54) Findo Gask Time for Action Dub (5:56) CSS Mix (4:12) Richard Fearless Reach Out Mix (7:05) Karsh Kale Voices of the Tribal Massive Mix (5:55)
  • Hearing this song helps me understand why Lennon was getting pissed in the later years. This is an A-side all the way yet it got sidelined just like Revolution and Across the Universe(which John really pushed for but the other guys weren't receptive). Maybe Paul figured it was his turn since from 62' up till 67' John was the dominator on the singles.

  • To anyone who hate Yoko Ono, ok, you can hate her, it is your good right to hate a human you know. But when you really like John Lennon, than dont insults Yoko. She doesnt deserve this. She is a bit weird, but did she do one bad thing? No. She doesnt split up the beatles, ask Paul, ask Ringo, they said no, she doenst split up the Beatles. Its ok when you hate her, but it give limits.

    Greetings from germany

  • @OwenJackson she did break them up. and they might not admit it NOW but paul did blame yoko for the break up of the beatles when it happened. it was her constant nagging of all the beatkes askin to change ltrics in their songs that caused. they had four people carry a king sized bed into the studio JUST for her for god sake..

  • ...and because he said it then when he was hurt and still searching for a scapegoat, it makes it true?

The truth is that they were heading down that path due to dissolution in the group long before Yoko and she was a factor, yes, but not THE ONLY factor.

  • no he said it because it was actually true.

was there tension in the group before hand?

yes. did she make things worse which led to the eventual break up? also yes. im not saying she was the ONLY factor, but she was the straw that broke the camel's back and if i were paul, george or ringo i wouldnt of put up with it anymore either.

  • ...to me, I look at these sessions and she looks awkward to be there. From basically everything, I get the impression that John insisted on everything

Besides, I don't know why people hate on Yoko and begrudge John the love of his life for maybe a few more years in an admittedly amazing band that would have nevertheless broken up whether John met Yoko or not.

  • It's public knowlegde that Beatles was already falling apart right before the Sgt. Pepper's.

Paul criticized her at time because he was afraid of Beatles breaking up. He blamed someone who had nothing to do with it.

If George, Paul and Ringo got mad when John took Yoko to the studio, it's his fault, not hers.

  • @Alexeiyeah nah they were not failling apart before sgt. peppers.

yes i've heard it being said bfore but no because if they were then

the album wouldn't of been so good.

sgt. peppers is a result of a band who get on perfectly well in a tightly

knit group. and this was scuppered when yoko came in.

  • Wrong. They were almost breaking up and they made "Abbey Road", their last album and one of the best.

  • @Alexeiyeah here now you said that they were breking up before they started

the sgt. peppers album, and now your saying it was before abbey road.

the albums between sgt peppers and abbey road are magical mystery tour, white album and yellow submarine. you're twisting your words. yes, they weren't going as well as they had been before recording the white album. but when yoko came in she exasscebated things and made them worse to the point that they broke up.

  • No. What I meant is even if they were fighting, this has nothing to dodo with the cd quallity. You are the one trying to twist my words.

When you said that if they were fighting, the Sgt. Peppers wouldnt be as great as it is (I dont like it very much). I only used Abbey Road as an example.

  • @Alexeiyeah they were NOT fighting during the recording of sgt. peppers.

the book i bought on the beatles clearly states so.

well sir you must be the only beatles fan in the world, to not like

    the sgt peppers album.

  • @blueblueblee So, your book is right over the most people say, huh? Okay...

And I don't like so much "conceptual" musics... Argh, Pink Floyd

  • @blueblueblee You are correct. Paul says in the anthology that it started to fall apart during the white album sessions

  • @blueblueblee They weren't fighting too much at that point, but they certainly were growing apart. They weren't really playing together as a band when they recorded. They would all be playing different chunks at different times, sometimes even in different rooms. Also without Epstein, they felt kind of lost.

By the way, I like the reference (I assume) to that Don't Let Me Down outtake there in you're name.

  • People need to crucify someone... That's sad... Poor Yoko =/

  • ((oJo))

  • just right Abbey road

  • anyone hear of the day by day collection

    or AB ROAD

  • at :14 I though this video was a troll and supposed to scare people.I shit my pants.

  • I am disturbed to see that woman, manginess have a different face

For all the hatred to Yoko

    fucking idiot

  • Yoko is a no talent whore!

  • she may not be a whore, but she definitely has NO talent.

  • Great!!!

  • i wish that my drummer was actually good. can't say anything about it cause my best friend/band mate would hate me.

  • I didn't like yoko 4 years cos wot i'd heard but after reading books and listening to interviews with contributions from everyone involved...all i feel now is that John loved yoko and she him....and because of meetin her he found a purpose in life (despite his talent) he realised he could use his fame for a great cause....peace IMO she gave him that by helpin him realise he cud do a lot of good and he did and was a lot happier for it....just my opinion...i love the Beatles....

  • agreed, although she fucked up The Beatles, peace before music, right? Besides, it worked real good what he did, there are no wars in the world anymore! Aren't we in a war-free world?

  • If only, dear. If only. The Middle-East is completely war-stricken. Africa's being torn apart, too :/

  • I agree that Yoko is a great artist who certainly shouldn't inspire hatred just because she fell into a relationship with someone who was needed elsewhere. What does irk me is that she is able to write and rewrite history and draw our conclusions. The world didn't need this guy hopping around in a bag or hanging around while she screeched. Lennon used the angst of the times and tried to turn everything into this one grand battle with the system.. he and Harrison got caught up in cults

  • What I thought was different about this portion of the movie was that you actually see Yoko, when John is singing, actually enjoying it, while every other time she stares stone cold into space...especially when Paul sings I have noticed. She may have not been the exact reason the beatles broke up, but I think she was a major contributor, contrary to what Paul has stated. If they ask the question, Did Yoko break up the beatles, you could say "no" because there were many factors.

  • We shouldn't blame or hate Yoko. It was John's decision to go this way or that. It is John and George who really tore this band apart because both became focused on getting to something more important than the Beatles i.e. a self indulgent artist/girlfriend and the Hare Krisha cult respectively. Both died deeply held in their thrall. Nice kids though.. Dhani seems like a good sort and was hugely fun on the Tonight Show last Tuesday.. sort of like the carefree George we lost to LSD.

  • This is not self indulgment. They already noticed Beatles was already braking up and they chose something else for their lives.

People lives are made of choices, they made theirs. Can't hate or blame George and Paul for that

  • srsly ppl. relax

everyone is beasting on yoko years later.

paul even says in an interview that it wasnt her fault.

john just wanted to live every moment of the rest of his life with the woman he loved.

if thats not love, i dont know what is BRAH!

  • John once said, as simple as love can be put, "i dont love Cynthia, i love yoko" I think the love they had was delicate and john knew that, he didnt wanna shut her out, she was his muse

  • I have nothing aginst Yoko, but honestly there was no need for her to be at their recording sessions all the time, all the time! Sitting right right next John just staring off, like come on, their trying to do a job.

The other Beatles didn't really like it either, I read that somewhere, I forget where now lol

  • The way Yoko's always right there in his face staring at him is kind of creepy.

  • This song must have about a dozen different versions. I actually love all of them, and contemporary musicians should take advantage of this song's amazing "flexibility".

  • Personal taste, I've never liked this song. I always thought was a drag, but then I really only know the Past Masters version.

I guess I can expect a dozen thumbs down but remember it's just an opinion of one song, I own everything by the Beatles collectively and Lennon solo.

  • I had always known the "single" version my whole life until I got to hear the "live on the rooftop" version that was included on "Let It Be...Naked." I like that one better than the studio version.

  • On all these practice/jam sessions, I think George is dickin off with a wah wah pedal, or is it John?

  • George .. I think it's a Vox wah.

He enjoyed his Fender telecaster (Rosewood) more than the Les Paul I guess.

  • i dont know why anybody hates yoko. john loved her. its weird how people respect and love john, but dont trust him enough to make the decision of who he spends his life with. they all wanted to go their separate ways before yoko moved into the studio - try when brian died.

  • Exactly. People try and say she single handidly broke The BEatles up but there was soooo much more to it. As John said when Brian died it was all down hill!

  • who cares its all there opinion

  • yoko loved bone.

  • john loved her and thats all that matters. BEATLES FOR EVER

  • Yoko's tight.

  • where's the rest?! :(

  • I'm afraid that hating Yoko is a natural reaction, and timeless.

  • oh how i hate yoko

  • hating Yoko is stuck in the sixties! grow up to Love and stop the jealousy, geez...

  • Incredible stuff, Incredible band
