Always turning your back on your opponent is not very smart. This guy was a descent fighter, but he is now 50 pounds heavier and moves very slow. A lot of these Kenpo guys are so over weight.
@mrlcookster ...old Jeff yeah.. :) ..best martialart-movie ive ever seen.(i practiced kenpo..and it really goes :D..^^)i jus love how he makes his way throughout the whole movie, the way he makes the black belt and then the memories from highscholl aways kill me :) its been a long time since i used to do my katas and to be honest, i dont remember them-but they totaly helped me,not too long ago..! martialartists will never know why they joined, but they´ll never forget or regret it :)*cheers*
@amazingdany Yeah, I actually think she's even more beautiful now than in this movie. Some women just age really well, of course being the daughter of a beauty queen can't hurt.
I passed up seeing this when it was released, thinking I saw it all with Lee, Chiba, Norris, and Shaw Bros' players. Then I caught this on tv one night in '94, and also became a quick fan of this film and Mr. Speakman. It was back to basics and down to business in all aspects!
One of my favourite films, after seeing this I became a fan of Jeff Speakman and also insired me to take up kenpo. This film teaches the true meaning of kenpo!
THE best movie for martial arts, i mustve watched this movie 100 times when i was a kid
