@charlottedrenee would it kill you to realize maybe she is telling the truth? you can be a fan of someone and yet not know literally everything he/she's ever done in their entire life. it has always been really easy for everyone to discredit her for the things that seem slightly similar to other things done in the past but don't credit her one bit for things she does do that's original.

Indeed she did. AMng others, check out Bette Midler's concert DVD "Diva Las Vegas". You will find a larger part of the awesome 2h+ show is dedicated to the mermaid character "Delores DeLago". She and her dancers do a terrific job there :-)!

Well, of course those tweets of Bette are a pure publicity stunt, and no one should put more into that ... But still: Her mermaid performances are really worth watching!
