  • Mötley crue`s singer Vince Neil had this kind of car in 70`s

  • hello, im looking into getting one of these but the thing is its really hard to find 2+2's and i really need at least space for my 13 year old brother not counting my passenger, do those things behind the front seats fold back or something it looks like enough room for a small person?

  • you know how bad it is to rev the engine when you start up the car without letting it warm up?

  • thats my dream car right there.

  • I want this car!!! O.O BTW u should not rev the engine without letting it warm up thats what i do :3

  • Could you do a video of a Nissan 300ZX Z32?

  • The dash is cracked but the console isnt broken where the manual chock lever is.I miss my Z

  • Cigarette lighter is so easy to reach

  • Now day Nissan z's are nothing like this.

  • is that the check engine light? xD

  • My gramps had one of these it would jump the front tires over a pop bottle lol

  • I like the camry in the background

  • Thats my dream car.

  • a classic japanese

  • my cousin used to have one of these,in good condition, trade it for a bmw, never talked to him again

  • Dude, it would make it much more interesting if u would put these dealers asking prices on here.........veeeeeeeeeeeeery interesting, so "lets start putting up the prices, shall we?"

  • how much did that car cost in the 70s?

  • @Zuhairqc When the 240Z was first released in 1969/70, the price was about $3400, depending on options and where you lived (Very cheap!). My 1970 Z was shipped to Hawaii, where I bought it for $2200. The price (and weight!) rose steadily from then, until the ZX cars eventually priced themselves out in the 1990s. I would *guess* this '73 might have been abt $4000 new. But the HP rating shown is for the 1970 car ~ it decreased in '72/'73/'74. And does he say "power steering"?? I don't see it!

  • My favorite Z and Car of all time, well the 240Z, but from '69-'71

  • devil z ! :D

  • These things are awesome.

  • great car.... i just feel so uncomfortable knowing that fact that it was 1973 muscle cars were in and this car was made by a japanese company....

  • I happen to notice that you always say "voltometer". I'm pretty sure it's "voltmeter".

  • how cute. they stuffed a tractor engine in a sports car

  • man i just love the sound when he unlocks the door :) thats a sound you dont hear any more :/

  • the transmission on the 1970-1973 Datsun 240Z

    Transmission

    3-speed automatic (1971 on)

    4-speed manual

  • I love this car, the in line 6 sounds great

  • are these cars reliable?

  • @poop4256 No.

  • that beautiful car is crying out for some restoration

  • @thatciggaweed Looks in pretty good shape to be crying

  • @thatciggaweed I hope you're joking.

  • Supertramp at 6:27, nice :D

  • awsome car

  • The excessive oily smoke out the tailpipe concerns me. Being that I'm an owner of an old Z Car, mine never smokes or leaks, and has never happened to anyone who owns these unless it had a lot of hard revs have been pushed on it through the years, such as non-stop racing. One mistake that people unknowledgeable about the engine do when they purchase these classics, is that they change the oil an replace it with synthetic oil which makes smoke.

  • i love these cars so much

  • redneck floormats

  • wow, even the music on the radio sounds old.

  • منت مضبوط يالامريكي اخلاقك فاسده :)

  • im in love all over again with that car there so rare

  • @KoyoTea not really that rare

  • ITS SO BEAUTIFUL!

  • i want one

  • Uv got big feet dude.

  • I have a 78' 280Z and I am in LOVE with it. Nice car!!

  • God, I would love to cruise down the highway with that car.

  • the dash needs some duck tape lol

  • This car just brings u back to the great times where everything was simple and people enjoyed all the small things in life that we take granted for

  • @applesmnch2 lol u old?

  • so simple the old days

  • excellent video Kyle as usual!!

  • nice review :)

  • Please don't push the window frame to close the door.

  • Why after you shut the car down it's still running in your vids?

  • The horn sounds like its off something far bigger. Stupid early 70's lol

  • yo kyle, can you tell me how to contact the owner or dealership? quick.

  • @crombie92 Google 'planet suzuki, charlotte nc'

  • Comment removed

  • Just wondering, when did Datsun change to Nissan?

  • @MrGSNfan '84.

  • Can someone call kmart7843 owned, and call him butt hurt for me please? I find the video of which he says he owns a truck with a boss 302 motor. I pick apart the truck, and tell him why he is full of shit(a boss 302 with stock 302 heads a 2BB, no rev limiter, and drivers side alternator)?!?!?!?, he deletes the comment blasting him and blocks me.

  • Cool tour man!

  • يولاد

  • I like when you do theses old cars

  • my neighbor has one and also a 350z and 300zx

  • Great video, as always! how about one on the Lincoln Mark VII or a 1982-1991 Chevrolet Camaro?

  • @lcfanyc he did a mark vii lsc

  • I don't mean this to sound like I'm being a jerk, but they made them up until 1992. That is, unless you're going by production year and not model year, in which case you may just be right.

  • @humanparody12

Thank you. About the Camaro, I am referring to the 3rd generation, which ran from 1982 to the 1991 model year. And the Mark VII ran from 1984 to 1992. Both are incredible-looking automobiles, the latter, in my humble opinion, the most beautiful American Automobile ever!

  • ...Nooooo. It ran until 1992.

  • VERY nicely 240z. i seen it in background in the porsche video.

  • I hope everyone knows that engine came from a tractor XD

  • FUUUUUUUUUCK

  • How much is it going for?

  • Gotta love the original Z's. Had a 76 Datsun 280 Z 2+2 back in the day. Dad on the 240. The 280 was way before it's day with the multiport electronic fuel injection system. Crammed 7 people in it once, driving down the road. Weak frame rails on the early Z's but quick engines and nimble performance.

  • the only asian car that i would consider "a classic" this is a great find.

  • @burninrock24 and don't forget the 2000GT ;)

  • This engine is burning clearly a lot of oil! And carburators are out of adjustment.

Carburators are not very difficult to adjust and oil consumption can be fixed with changing valve seals and piston rings.

  • Do a test drive!

  • "zed'"

  • @studogs80 in civilized countries like America, "Z" is a letter, not a word

But then, you stupid Skips put the steering wheel on the wrong side, too

  • america civilised? your all dumbcunts and full of immigrants. thats why ur economy is totally fucked. And australias economy is great.

  • @studogs80 Bro... No need to fight against the americans. They are ignorant cunts, You should believe me, My aunt, uncle, and cousin are american and are fucking cunts...

  • @UsedUpDope247 yeh screw americans, always hated them.. there just so annoying and there laws and everything is horrid. Id never move from australia.

  • @studogs80 Haha.. Bro I wish I lived in Australia. Living above america blows as much dick as Sara Jay. Anyways, Kodo's bro for living across the ocean!

  • @UsedUpDope247 loll

  • @studogs80 Australia was founded as a British prison colony..... All that aside, I would love to visit Australia some day.

  • @criind yeah it was, don't see how that is relevant. but anyways yes u should visit. Its an amazing country, the only bad part is that its very far away from europe if your a traveler

  • @USAon3 hey mr america relax .. the rest of the world drives on right side.. its only america that drives left hand

  • This is a real car compared to those computer driven hunks of plastic now a days

  • Amazing car. Great classic.

  • Wow one of your best reviews Kyle, love this car

  • this thing is in awesome shape! the carbs need adjusted because that thing is burning WAY to rich. i am a huge nissan fan and really like these classic Z's.

  • indeed ty4ons, well explained though. and kyle thank you for posting it, i used to have one of these. and to teach myself how to do carbs when the one i had went south

  • "see how things have progressed over the years" yeah listen to the sound system XD

  • He forgot, or didn't know, about the under floor compartments behind the seats. You can see the carpet has a seam to facilitate opening the covers.

  • kyle has that signature rev developed !

  • Is it Datsun or Daihatsu that became Nissan?

  • @Goldenrod636 Datsun.

  • @Goldenrod636 Daihatsu is owned by Toyota, Datsun is nissan. It's fairly obvious seeing as how the engine had "Nissan" written across the top of it. And the Z series is a classic line of roadsters made by Nissan(see any resemblance in the modern day 350 or 370Z?)

  • @Goldenrod636 datsun

  • Datsun. Daihatsu is still Daihatsu.

  • @humanparody12 No. Wrong. Datsun is Nissan. Not Daihatsu. Get it right.

  • That's what I said, dumbass.

  • @humanparody12 Datsun and Daihatsu are not the same thing. Daihatsu is owned by Toyota. Toyota does not equal Nissan.

  • Let me break this down for you:

What I SAID was "Datsun became Nissan. Daihatsu is still Daihatsu."

Your personal preference does not make me wrong.

  • @humanparody12 Okay, first of all, when did you say that Datsun became Nissan in that comment? All you said was "Datsun." Then you said that Daihatsu is still Daihatsu. There are multiple meanings to that because you didn't make it clear that you already knew that Datsun became Nissan. I didn't think that you were joking. Because of that I corrected you. If it was just a joke then fine. That's your preference and I respect that. I just didn't think that you knew what Datsun was. Sorry.

  • I figured it was well enough clear what I meant, so I didn't see the need to elaborate.

  • couldn't even imagine how much weed was smoked in that 240. haha.

  • 6:30 sounds like the music that would have played on this car's stereo when it was new :D

  • Nice car.

  • Some say that Datsun were vehicles that nobody could trust due to numerous problems, and those people were previous and current Nissan Owners, and when they heard that Nissan used to be Datsun, they almost flipped out, because one of those people had been having troubles out her 2004 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SE!

  • i had this car in midnight club LA

  • Kyle, sounds like ou stay pretty neutral doing your reviews, not saying much about what you like. What kinds of cars do you like, modern or classic?

  • @brobinson75

He's had everything from a Focus, to a Lexus and his Current Genesis Coupe. He also has a Ford Fairlane that he's fixing up.

  • @Xboxlivemgear He (Kyle) drove a Ford Focus? When?

  • @Goldenrod636

It was his second car (I think.) After he had a Saab. I remember him mentioning it had a Blaupunkt sound system in it, and he commented it was nice. I also remember him talking about it while holding his fluffy cat. He should have a video on his profile.

  • That's what I'm talking about....nice car

  • if u could can u do a chevy corvette 83

  • beautiful car from a beautiful country!

  • freddiemercury777778

    yuck, dude.

  • Kyle I hope ur singing Whenever I see ur smiling face by James Taylor to ur girlfriend

  • rich smoke ftw

  • I always loved DATSUNS! Mom had one in 70s, which I only knew through pictures. It was considered a very reliable with fair price car for its time. A shame Nissan turned down the car-maker's name. It sounded very nice.

  • Wow so u mean to tell me its got 4 ways but no power steering. LOL Fail

  • @HwkyPlrs how is that a "fail"?

  • what was the red warning light that was on on the dash?

  • @Fred924 probably the parking brake light

  • @Fred924 That's the low fuel level warning light. There is also the parking brake light and in cars sold in California, an exhaust temperature warning light.

  • What a nice car to do a full restore on. Side draft carbs...woot don't see many of those.

  • lol at 7:46 for some reason when you opened the trunck, i felt that the seatbelt was a shotgun

  • wooooooooow

  • Bruce Almighty's car lol

  • There are a lot of things, which are perfectly agreeable about this car, (specially if we consider its vintage) - except the avocado green colour.

  • lol why does the key say do not drive?!

  • Kyle can you please do a video on that 2001 Pontiac Montana they have at Planet Imports?

  • u should review the suzuki xl7 that was at the right side of the datsun

  • why does a SUZUKI dealership have all these rare and nice cars?

  • @integraz32lover He said he was at Planet Imports which is in the same complex as Planet Suzuki both dealerships owned by the same people. He said that the last 3 videos.

  • @datboiwes333 Ohh ok lol,i didnt realize that

  • Wow, I thought these cars were cheap and not powerful. The interior is pretty nice actually.

  • Devil Z???

    :D

  • nice find;love this colour;this dealership has some unique vehicals;could you try doing a nissan rouge sl

  • Planet Imports is a sub-division of Planet Suzuki - Charlotte, NC, right, Kyle?

  • this looks like it would be an ancestor of the modern Nissan 370Z along with the 300ZX, especially with it being a 2-seater.

  • @achm3d thats because it is

  • @achm3d well it is part of the Z family

  • the 1970-1973 Datsun 240Z was assembled in

    Hiratsuka, Kanagawa, Japan

  • @Annihilator1111 do you say that same stuff for all his videos

  • @asgher786 kyle lets me do it on his videos

  • he only says "Fires right up" when the car fires right up, so it kind of makes sense ;)

  • LOL! yea you do always say "fires right up"! Hahaha its cool though.

    It's one of your trademarks.

  • damn some young kids must watch these videos too with so many people asking what a choke is.

  • Great video as always Kyle! Those Datsuns are sweet.

  • no way a datsun!!

  • Nice, sounds good! It did fire right up. Door sounds a little "tin-ey" when you opened it.

Gotta love these cars. Stole some of the designs from the E-Type Jaguar.

  • gotta love your classic imports

  • Nice, the body and interior's in great shape. I'd get rid of that wooden steering wheel though.

  • It looks like a muscle car.

  • Why do not you drive a car with manual transmission, as with the automatic. I'd like to see how these cars look while driving, probably a few other people too. Can not you use the gearbox? It is very easy:)

  • @smokey584 he has several driving vids with manuals.

  • Kyle, can you please do a video on that 2001 Pontiac Montana they have at Planet Imports?

  • old cars are the best.

  • I had a 73 240z in 1988 and had 3 deuces under the hood. On a good day I got 12mpg. Brings back the fun memories.

  • what did the manual choke do back then ??

  • @Josephalosaurus It adjust the air/fuel mixture on cold starts

  • its interesting the concept of 4 speed(like in this car) and 3 speed and stuff... its nice cuz its so weird to us that were are used to 5 speed and 6 speed or even seven speed... :P

  • @LordKevin92 8 speed in the latest BMW 7 series :p Your going like WOUUUUUM-WOUM-WOUM-WOUM-WOUM-WOUM-WOUM-WIIIIIIII !

    :p

  • and 1 person sucks
