no you have to present your silver and gold skyewards membership number with you while you checkin you will get the lounge card...all is that your number should be there in the reservation and if you forget show your card or nuumber at checkin counters but you must be a silver card and gold card member not blue one

well if you are holding a business class ticket u dont need to pay a single penny even if you are a skyward gold card and silver card member you are entitled to enjoy the lounge round the globe on all emirates destinations

@wajih78 Apllies only to Skywards Gold, unfortunately; only in Dubai you get lounge access as Silver travelling in economy

Hey Im going to get Silver card after this travel. meaning I can only access the lounge after I get a card? (after the whole jurney) or can I get the silver card status if i've got the ticket already (ticket to get me upto silver). And on flight, does silver status gets you automatic upgrade from economy to business?

@LuxorStudios You can access the lounge AFTER you achieved Silver - but before you get the physical card. Silver status will be in your electronic booking data. No automtic upgrades at all - even not with Gold.

@LuxorStudios Upgrade entitles you to the lounge..enjoy it...but use the one in T3. I trust you have seen my T3 lounge videos, which are better than the one in this video:) Have a great flight

My father and I have been to this lounge! It simply is amazing, I had a little of everything. 1st i started off with the Cheese, then onto a salad and then a main and each course we had a different wine champagne and juice! 5/5.

Oh dear, surprised that for Emirates Business Class lounger the serving containers with plastic lids look really like mass cafteria style containers.... don't know about the seating area, didn't get to see it much though hopefully better. Hope to see for myself one day! Cheers.

@simonlofts All yess! This is the only lounge you cann access with silver. But it is in T1, not in T3..you have to walk there from T3 for some 15 minutes or so. Enjoy it!

This is a fantastic lounge bar one thing. When it gets busy you have to wait for the showers (7 deep queue when i was there last Sept and that was for all the showers) and for the toilets.

This was unfortunate as the lounge itself and whats on offer is fanatstic as were the two flight from London to Singapore.

This was the floating turd in an otherwise perfect EK experience.

Pks check my T3 lounge video..lounge was not full at all. But i took the film around mid day..so it always depemds..i personally never expereinced it so full as you dexcribe, although i know it happens from other reports.

T1 tends to be more quiet and less crowded; food choice is much bigger in T3, though; showers available in both. I am happy with T3 lounge:)

All EK flights arrive and depart at/from T3. Some people prefer, though, to walk over to T1 in case the T3 lounge is too busy - the old T1 lounge is suposed to be more quiet now. If you have enough time, try both..but it is quite some distance to walk..you might try to get a ride on those leiitle electric cars, though.

It is all free, both onboard and in the lounge. As to NY, check my video on Emirates on the Ritz..you will see the lounge in NY which is even better than Frankfurt. And ask for the free pre-flight dinner at the Ritz Carlton and the limousine which will wisk you from there to the airport..EKs NY service is fantastic!
