@cadillacowboy1 The truck came with the 5 speed manual transmission. The only thing I changed was the shifter which was very simple.

yep same here too love it except when its a 331 stroker and 2wd it takes off the same but cant shift it before hits the rev limiter

You should try a line lock with it too. I did.

Its super easy. Youll need a screwdriver, wrench, and a torx (star) bit and about 30-45 minutes.

hey man i hear these shifters make the shifts pretty loud? is that true? I cant quite tell from the vid

You can hear the mechanical clicking sound of the shifter itself yes but its not terribly loud.

It was really easy to install. the directions included were very good. It took maybee 30 minutes for mine front start to finish.

How much did cost for the shifter?

im thinking it was about $200 maybee a little under. Check out Summit Racing, thats where I got mine.

its basically a custom cat-back system. behind the 2nd cat is a Y with a glass pack on each side of the Y and then the pipes ran out the back. There is an exhaust video on here too, check it out if you havent allready, just go to my videos

hmmm i wanna get one for my f150 but not sure how well it would work because of my 3rd gear syncro grind, is the shifter tight enough to where i wouldnt be able to jiggle it into third?? if you could give me some feed back it would be of much help.

no tranny change. It just bolts in place of the stock shifter.

no it keeps the standard H pattern, its just an extremely short thow and tight pattern so it looks like that.

I can attest to that, I bought a 4speed saginaw with a hurst indy shifter and thought the trans only had 1st and 2nd the pattern was so tight. Its GREAT you CANT miss a gear it just goes!
