There is a wonderfully special place in HELL for those who kill children. The deepest darkest place where they get tortured daily. At the end of the torture, their memory and the marks of it is erased so that way they relive the pain over and over again.
I would like for the lawmakers in the US to change the wording from "child abuse resulting in death" to what it really is: 1st Degree Murder. It should be against the law to offer pleas agreements to child killers.
It breaks my heart knowing that as I sit and type this, there is a woman who is getting beaten because dinner wasn't on the table on time. Or a child is being locked in a room with nothing to eat but their own feces. People say it is a sick world we live in, not true, it is not the world that is sick. It is the people that are living in it. I pray that those women and children that are being tortured find a way out. Even the men who endure the abuse as well. No one deserves to live like that.

The "bad childhood" excuse is getting real old. had a horrendous childhood, (will not give details, please don't ask). but yet at the age of 19 I got my first job and I am still working. I have raised my son alone. I had never, ever thought of inflicting pain upon another. I would think that if a person has been hurt most of their life that is the last thing they would want to do to another. I know what pain is and I would die before I chose to do that to another. Face it, they were born evil.
OMG this Montgomery is a monster, no doubt. But... she is a sick creator. In my country she would have been given a psychiatric assessment and put to madhouse and even would be out after some years.
I'm against death penalty but whenever I get aware of that kind of cruelty well... I don't know anymore.
ashamed Canadian here, our laws are RIDICULOUS , I feel so unsafe living in Canada there are so many psychos just roaming our streets, conversing with the everyday citizen like its nobody's business, getting college degrees, becoming child psychologists, welcome to Canada! Canadian laws are bullshit, I could care less if they're 12 years old or 35 you do the crime you pay the time - were all equal here, isn't that what "Canada" promotes? I'm going to lock my door my neighbor may be a killer :/

Those kids were always wilding out.This was and wasn't a shock.We had a battle at a Keg Party when about 15 black kids, young 20s which was my age,18 and they started filling their pockets with anything they could right out in open.We started fightin and one my boys got his arms sliced up but we were Punk Rockers,we didn't don't call cops.Actually he was sewed up by a friend with a needle and dental Floss.
Krista Pike,a lot of people were shocked by this but the kids,college age and Younger that lived in Fort Sanders knew something was going to go down.Job Core would be in groups and throw bricks at people,it happen to me and two girls I was walking down the street with.They were mostly black and I had/have a lot of Black friends.Wasn't anything racial cause two of my friends got attacked and they tried to mug them.Good Riddance to that place.It was a great idea to help kids that Backfired.

@angrybirdsforever You probably already know this, but there's a movie based about this, I think it's called "An American Crime" that's pretty good, so hard to watch and a novel by Jack Ketchum that is strongly based on this story-"The Girl Next Door". Both, like I wrote, are hard to digest an stay with you far too long.

Especially poignant is that she could have escaped several times but not without leaving her disabled sister and she knew that b**** would have taken her escape out on the sister. I think this tragedy should also be studied as a rare case of "gang brutality". The so-called normal neighbor kids, I'd like to know how they turned out, bet either as self-destructive or monsters themselves!
