I might do the size reduction, but I will cut off the end piece instead of remove it, mainly because I want to keep the attached iron sights, which I keep for the feel and personal preference.

On my barricade I took 3 nuts and a large bolt and made an ad hoc charging handle by screwing it into the holes on the jam door. Two of them act as spacers, and the third goes on the inside of the jam door, holding it all on. This way I can leave the switch behind the trigger on, but I can get it to start up by just using the handle on the jam door. It's much easier if you have to keep turning it on and off. So long as you put it in one of the front-most holes you shouldn't have a problem.

You missed the half-stroke lock group UNDER the trigger. That thing causes malfunctions, and in HVZ is a liability. It can be removed entirely. I also prefer NOT deactivating the safety by removing the plunger and spring from the cover plate (then again, the flywheel switch on mine is not connected to the safety because mine is trigger switched). I find the safety to be a useful feature, as accidental trigger pulls could push darts and cause a malfunction.

Also guys, leaving the hatch on and working CAN be a good thing if you do not do the clip mod. I noticed that after doing the mod that allows you to pull the trigger when off that reloading could be much easier. Because opening the hatch prevents the dart push rod from moving you can open the hatch and use the trigger to rotate the barrel for loading while the blaster is off. I am not a fan of rotating the drum by hand all the time so this is useful to me.

When I removed the safety lock on the battery pack side I took out the screw, spring, AND that little orange post. In the vid you only SAID the spring and screw. Was the little post supposed to be removed as well? The reason I ask is that the on-off switch is a little loose now and I assume that post had something to do with it.

For all of the lazy people who don't want to do a mod for loading this thing, simply turn the barricade on, pull the jam door open, and press the trigger to rotate the barrel instead of rotating the barrel with your hand

I have watched your videos for a while now, and this is the first time I've seen something that you took the hard way on. from 2:55 through about 4:50 you spend the entire time taking out just the jam door which could have been taken out with less than 3 screws I believe. I did it yesterday and I didn't touch anything near the trigger or the mechanism that pushes the dart forward. Just something to look into. All you need is the couple screws directly next to the jam door. That's all I did.
