My Solution to Oily Skin!

I suffer from severe oily skin and I use right now is Cosmedicine oil control lotion and it really helps and I'm now using Laura Mercier oil free foundation and I have to say it really helps plus I'm waiting for my order from Dr.Murads mattifier lotion to get here, and heard so many good reviews on that lotion and that it really does help control your oily skin....I hope this is helpful to you as it is for me

I have oily skin too, but I guess we can all call it a blessing in disguise because studies have shown that people with oily skin age a lot slower than people that have dry or normal skin. So guess we are kind of lucky as long as we know how to manage it.

did you put moisturizer on befor you use the mac oil-control lotion? the sales rep at mac told me that you must still use your moisturizer because the oil-control lotion really is drying

bobbi brown products are actually good for oily skin, it's light but u can still get full coverage for your skin, I have excessie oily skin and sensitive skin so trust me its hard to find products. also the sephora brand has changed alot and they actually have pretty good products too...makeup forever is good, but can be a bit heavy since its considered theater makeup..

Im the same but i only have a really oily t-zone. All i use is MAC Oil Control Lotion in my t-zone and Stila blot powder in the morning ontop of my foundation as a setter and i never have to touch up once.

Thanks for sharing! I just watched your most recent video (August Favorites) as you mentioned about using the Clinique Gel. Are you still using the MAC Oil Control Lotion? If so, do you apply the MAC or Clinique first?

Btw, I went to MAC store yesterday & decided to get my first Blot Powder (have not used it yet) in Medium Dark because my MA said so. I just found out that you are NC30 and got it in Medium so I hope mine will not be too dark for me :)

I apply Clinique when I have dry skin and MAC when my face is super oily. =) Medium Dark Blot powder is way to dark for me.. lol. =) did it work out ok for you though?

Hello! Thanks so much for the great vid, very informative. OMG I was looking into purchasing all the products before I found your vid here, so excited! I have combination skin I can't say that it's super super oily but i do get oily in the t-zone & cheeks. I was also afraid of breaking out with the products. Luv but really cannot wear any MAC foundations without breaking out. Did you experience any break outs with the Finishing Powder or skin refined treatment?

This may sound lame and cheap but for makeup I find that ALMAY works really well.. I know it's drug store brand but I've had acne and oily skin my whole life and I've had no problems with Almay.. I use the liquid makeup with the finishing powder. Thanks for this though, I'm going to try it.

use the garnie fructis long-lasting shine control moisturizer. IT IS AMAAZING! It absorbs exess oil from ur face all day long (you may need to reapply in the middle of the day) it is SO AWESOME. Its $13 i think at drugstores. I got it at Shoppers Drug Mart (canada). As long as you put that on right away after cleansing ur face with a good oil absorbing cleanser (the body shop makes one i use it too) and use the cream, then ur set to go. Can put anything over it! I LOVEE IT. ♥
