me 2 .... i started plating Live back on the SNES & ive bought it every year since Live '95 . I give it a go cause I know EA wil get it right, but until they do I have trade it in for 2K .

this game has flaws, but its so much better than Live. most ppl that play 2K used to play live, then found out it wasnt that good, played 2K, and like it so much more. thats what happened to me. NBA Live 05 - Good

Maybe on the xbox , but on the Xbox 360 , Nba 2k8 is far better than Ea's NBA Live 08 . Dont get me wrong I got Live before 2K this year and i was impressed but its juts too damn easy to score , you just post someone up roll them and either dunk or get fouled and dunk. NBA 2K8 is a far better simulation & I will admit it does have flaws but not many basketball games dont ..

Even so, 2K Sports can't even come close to EA in most sports games. I've been playing 2K Sports games since late 2005... and I own many EA Sports games. No wonder I never even play 2K Sports anymore, and I'm selling all but one of my 2K games. EA is just plain better... they have more experience making games, and all of the 2K Sports games I've played have had just too many annoying flaws... whereas EA's Madden, etc. works a lot better.

I rest my case for now.

Yes, it may have the slight advantage in basketball games, but EA defenetly does have an advantage on most of the sports games... 2K is okay, but doesn't compare to EA.

Well i think we can agree to dissagree.I used to Love Nba live but it lost its edge a while ago , which gave 2K the opportunity to take the crown .If Ea make a better game ill play it but for now it looks pretty when you pause it , but thats it .

As I said before, EA, yes, did 'lose it's crown' for NBA Live, but 2K doesn't hold the crown for any other major sports games.
