Don't be to judgmental as to how u perceive Dr.M. N.E.P had many criticism and yet, Malaysia is rising very well. For those who gave negative comments on Dr.M, one fact has remain, that Malaysia has grown well over these past years. They (to whom it may concern) might say we have racial instability, but to mock it without further understanding is very ignorant. Even in India, one of the largest economic power in asia, has very poor Human development index, where else in Malaysia itself, they have manage to keep that gap of poverty and rich at a minimum. He did what was best during that period of time.

I don't think Lee Kwan Yew could make much diff as Dr.M. Yes, Singapore is without resources, but they have trading to boast them up, due to their major port. They are in league with Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea. The 4 asia tigers. But there are many criteria to look at, All these countries are small, hence easy to adminstrate, unlike Malaysia. they are the major ports in Pacific Asia as well. Countries like Thailand are mostly in-land, hence nt strategic enough.

ni lagi satu ko kena tipu dgn mamak tua....anwar dah hentikan pinjaman IMF tahun 1993..... MAHATHIR wat fitnah cibai ni kat anwar...bila anwar dlm penjara 1998....1999 mahathir yg start balik pinjaman kat IMF....dia nak selamatkan syarikat kroni2 dgn anak2 dia.....pasal yg ko cakap tu adalah rundingan...malaysia ikut law ARTIKEL 4 (meminta rundingan diadakan)...dgn IMF. soal pinjam/setuju atau x pinjam/ tidak setuju lain kira.....AKU AMAT KESIAN KAT KO KENA TIPU PULUH TAHUN oleh MAMAK..wassalam

Sbenarnya Msia tak pernah pinjam IMF. Condemsus lantik Nuar pengerusi pmbgnn IMF asia. 1997 BJ Habibi dipujuk nuar pinjam IMF hgga kini Indon tak pulih2. Nuar gagal pjuk M'thir. Nuar naikn interest Loan bank hingga 17% supaya M'thir trtekan. smpat brjln pd Sept, Okt, Nov 1998. Rmai org mlayu yg ambil loan ASB gagal bayar. M'thir batalkn interest bank ini setibanya dari CHINA tika itu. Condemsus kecewa nuar gagal pujuk M'thir lalu lantik nuar jadi fellow sebuah uni di US utk pulih kredibility.

Mr Interviewer, Mahathir was right. It was Anwar who got himself into prison by his wrong doings. He was fortunate being in Malaysia as in other non-western countries he would certainly ended being in the lion's den. He caused a stir in Malaysia because he dearly longed to be the Priminister. Issues emerges now when he started to stir up the ½ centuary tranquility we had.
