Wow these baby's are big! They look almost twice the length of the SD40-2's they are consisted with, though I know they are 98' 5" to the SD40-2's 68' 10", they look much bigger!

To basically answer your question the first two DDA40Xs have Leslie Supertyfon model S5TRRO while the third one had an S3LR horn.

You can still see this locomotive on the rails. 6936 regularly hauls the UP Business Train.

@DASCO2136 Some had S5Ts and some had S3Ls. 6936 Currently has an S3L.
