  • Given the noses that the 6900s had, would it be safe to say that they were the first 'wide cab' units in America?

  • Wow these baby's are big! They look almost twice the length of the SD40-2's they are consisted with, though I know they are 98' 5" to the SD40-2's 68' 10", they look much bigger!

  • 1:27 #6922 is in Bailey Yard on display. 6936 behind it belongs to Steam Shop 

  • To basically answer your question the first two DDA40Xs have Leslie Supertyfon model S5TRRO while the third one had an S3LR horn.

  • @DASCO2136 Some had S5Ts and some had S3Ls. 6936 Currently has an S3L.
