Going into Group One, my favorites were Danny and Anoop, Ricky Braddy stood out and became my top favorite. He wasn't featured like the others, but I thought he had the best voice. I wish he was placed with Group Two, then maybe he would've gotten in the Top 12. I'll be rooting for Danny and Anoop.

I am sick of Braddy fans complaining about Gokey getting in because had a good backstory and was pimped by Idol. Both of these are true, but he is also good. Contestants from Week 2 who had little pimping made it through. Allison and Kris--somehow with Norm and Adam in the bunch they were able to make themselves standout. This is American Idol: key word IDOL. It's been this way for awhile now. Ricky is a good singer, maybe a great singer. But it takes more than that to become an Idol.

Most of the song choices where bad.Ricky Braddy was ok.But Elliott sang that song better.Stevie was bad.I wanted her to do well.Casey's song choicwe was bad.Plus the ways she moved etc.I wanted her to do well.Most of the show was pretty boring.

i agree that Danny is definitely a shoe-in. He was definitely the best last night. He and Adam Lambert are my top 2. I like Anoop Desai as well.

I totally love you two together. Thanks for bringing us real and genuine reporting from the home front. I missed the show but now I have a wonderful outlook on what sounds like could have been my own similar points of view. First off lets just say there is no David Cook this year. As far as Gokey he has an OK voice but the favoritism from the show is too obvious. Last night I believe his song was the only one where they jumped up a key in the middle of the song. All the others stayed in the same key throughout the whole song, and most of them were in too low a key range for the singers. Alexis Grace was the best of the night though.

I'm glad there's no David Cook this year. We already have a David Cook, I hope they can find something different this year. It always starts off the same for me each season. I am totally underwhelmed but as the season goes on a few of the contestants start to grow on me. I wasn't enamoured with David Cook at the beginning of the season last year but by the end I certainly was. Give them a chance.

You're putting yourself out there by making apparently scandalous comments. They are entitled to their opinions, and you are entitled to your own. If the videos are difficult to watch because there's say, too much swearing or sound problems, then the video sucks. They do a good job with their videos, and they're sometimes pretty funny.

The whole premise of American Idol is that these contestants put themselves out there to be judged by America. What's your problem with these two giving their honest opinion on their performances. If you don't like it start your own review show and say only nice things about all the contestants.

Not a good show. Most of them were terrible. I guess the nerves were getting to them, which is understandable.

Anyone notice the way Kara gave her comments? At times, she would lean forward and be maybe an inch from the microphone so it was hard to understand her. She was so loud. lol.

Lol - that's right! Maddie kept yelling "back away from the mic!" Someone must have told her because by the end of the show she was not doing it as much - it was probably the sound guy with the blown ear drums :)
