I would love that some do a version with the original song and mix it with the radio slowing down effect (without the slaps in the background obviously) and then the part when music beggings to play again when the current is restablished and it sounds like repeting "your mind, your mind, your mind" XD
The futuristic city represents the girls' freedom. If it gets destroyed, all hope is gone. Having the radio in the brothel play is like having the bomb defused. Did you notice how the radio wire short-circuited? That represents the bomb reactivating again. Rocket died in the train sequence, the girls failed the mission, the city exploded, all hope for freedom is destroyed. In the brothel, the girls got caught, Rocket died, and they no longer have a chance of being free. Hope I helped.
The reason why this movie wasn't good was because of the dialogue. And the delivery of each line was way dramatic. However the action was top notch. And the story wasn't as convoluted as everyone said.
This movie kicked way more ass than I would have thought from the trailers. And this scene is easily one of the most powerfull. The ending was a TOTAL blindside I didn't see comming. Whole ton of awesome.

@Lui362 I think the bomb would've destroyed the entire area. Its just a hunch, but I don't think they would've been able to pick her back up, and escape without the shockwave rocking the helicopter, and making them crash. Like I said, it's just a hunch cuz I though the exact same thing as you when I first watched the movie.

In the animated short of this train futuristic place, the robots were rebeling against the city because they were part of the poor community. So even though this whole scene was imagenary I was still rooting for the robots to succed with their bomb mission.
