PC LED Strips? Depends what the base is made of this base is made of steel (Weak Steel) so it can be bent but broken. IF its Made of circuitory paper u can bend it fully and nothing will happen. All Depends on the Base material
Umm No. If you use wall socket power and intend to put it on permanently you can do it with just 2 wires connected to the Strip. :D If you use a Battery Source. You'll need a bit of Circuitry.
How many diode crystals of you know? The LEDs I work with are single crystal and put out alot of heat. I put together a 9-10 watt LED light and it required a CPU heat sync and fan, I set it up wrong once and the fan stopped the heat sync hit about 180 F I was damn surprised I did not cook any of the LEDs. I can post a video of it up if you wanted to see.
Mine are dual Crystals. and put out pretty much the same heat. And Led's can resist extreme heat, mine got to 200 degrees once, it still did not burn. But that was not this bar led
lol, i'm so proud of myself for recognizing the symbols for the planets on your desk. but hey, they told us that we're not allowed to call pluto a planet now, the bastards!!
you can get these from computer stores, their for lighting up your PC (if it has a window sidepanel) and you can even bend some of em.

I would expect alot more light from 3 watts, I use alot of 1 watt leds myself and one would dwarf that.
