I heard this song in Wet Seal and fell in love with it(: I looked it up and saw it was written by Andy Grammer, no surprise, he is an AWESOME writer!(:
This song is too optimistic. While I believe that most women have a beauty to themselves from being good and human, I've met some really ugly people, some of which were women. I'm talking about inner ugliness, in that they were selfish, violent, greedy, etc.
So while I like Andy Grammer and all, I just don't relate to this song since not all women are created equal.

But he says "girls who are learning how to shine their light" So he means mostly treating young women with respect instead of trying to just get them into bed because they are young so they are a little naive. not to say that you shouldn't treat all women with respect no matter how bitter thye are. *cough* Karma *cough* unless they hold a knife to your throat. then it's abuse time!! >:D
