@Minky2488 Oh yeah, they are territorial in water and bachelors, bulls and even females will attack when threatened. When attacking, they are ferocious, going into a wild rage like a wounded bull elephant (though the elephant rage would be worse, haha).

Compared to rhinos (which are similar sized), rhinos are more dangerous only b/c hippos lack the long-distance high-speed running, horn(s) and armor of a rhino. Hippos have sharp, BIG ivory teeth and a massively strong bite though.
