  • Happy 70th Art!

  • I Hope When I Grow Up I'll Still Be Seeing My Best Friend Bailley

  • Paul Simon is now 70. (born 10/13/1941)

"Can you imagine us years from today, sharing a park bench quietly?

How terribly strange to be seventy..."

I remember so clearly, sitting in the afternoon sun outside my college bookstore in April 1968, holding in my hands the Bookends album which I had just purchased, and somehow knowing that this was going to be a very special experience. I was not disappointed. I was 18 years old. Unfathomable that this man is now 70.

  • I didn't know there was a song like this. NICE!

  • for my friends i will never saw them again bb all :'(

  • thank you, thank you so much

  • I first heard this on some radio channel a year ago and looked it up. I immediatly liked it. All I can see when I hear this is two old guys sittin' in Central Park on a bench talking about old times and old friends, and the good old days. Two old gents with a long friendship. What a cool song. Always liked S & G's vocals too.

  • this song makes me wanna cry when its supposed to happy right?

  • @LaLoveLee123 isn't sad to watch life just fleet away.

  • They should have kept this song simple and without strings. I guess they were going for a movie soundtrack vibe with this one.

  • remember golden moments that will always shine

  • what a magnificent song.....

    I'm crying.... :'(

  • For an old high school friend who passed this weekend. RIP Rupert.

  • It's so sweet. I love it!

  • i love the ending... the music is wonderful!!!

  • Of course

    I love this song !

Simon and Garfunkel are always great poets of music
