Apollon toujours m'inspire, jamais ne me déçoit, souvent se fait tendre , rarement me blesse, mais parfois Apollon ne peut pas s'en empêcher, il me boxe, et j'en suis suis sonné des jours, Simon & Garfunkel Poète!
"Can you imagine us years from today, sharing a park bench quietly?
How terribly strange to be seventy..."
I remember so clearly, sitting in the afternoon sun outside my college bookstore in April 1968, holding in my hands the Bookends album which I had just purchased, and somehow knowing that this was going to be a very special experience. I was not disappointed. I was 18 years old. Unfathomable that this man is now 70.
I first heard this on some radio channel a year ago and looked it up. I immediatly liked it. All I can see when I hear this is two old guys sittin' in Central Park on a bench talking about old times and old friends, and the good old days. Two old gents with a long friendship. What a cool song. Always liked S & G's vocals too.
so touching

They should have kept this song simple and without strings. I guess they were going for a movie soundtrack vibe with this one.
