@chadsteele1 perfectly legal as long as you have a Class A with a doubles/triples endorsement and don't exceed your maximum weight limit. I would for sure use a dually in this situation though. Also, with this type of setup, the first trailer must be a fifth wheel or gooseneck type and both trailers have to be braked. Technically, he should have a brake buddy installed in the jeep and as stated, he'd be better off with a 3500 dually.

Yes it is legal as Chad said. I was stopped just this past weekend coming up from Havasu to Mead in CA. by a trooper. He too said I was illeagal unless I possesed proper endorsments...which I gladly handed him. To his surprise..I wouldn't recomend doing this by the average daily driver..you need to know how to drive a VERY LONG trailer and know your vehicles limitations. I have an '06 Duramax putting down 600 hp, 37' Raptor toy hauler( jet ski inside) and tow a 21' Chapparal..70' total!

Idiots! The Duramax owned by Chevy its still a Duramax and still is, or FORMERLY an Izuzu product. FORD should just make an inline 6 diesel, the Powerstroke is a joke to work on same thing with the Izuzu with all the emissions crap, wiring, lines, etc. The last good engines V8 wise, Detroit Diesel 8V71, even a 6V53 while not as powerful as current engines they are awesome.

First off, for being such a 'crappy' motor, the duramaxes that come in usually have well over 500-600k miles on it, and most of them are only fuel injectors, seals, ect. Things that wear out overtime. Fords pretty good with there older trucks, we get allot of there newer ones in. Dodge on the other hand, electrical, lifters, the actual head bursting, gaskets, and these trucks usually aint that old.

@RacingRocks12 Personally, the sound of the Cummin's is heaps better than the V8 diesels of today. I wouldn't doubt the Dodge having problems, I don't like Dodge. But, I do like Cummins. If I got a diesel engine in a pick up it would be a Cummins. If I got a bus or a semi, it would be a Detroit. If people are retarded enough to do the amount of mods they do to some of these engines, I wouldn't doubt they blow head gaskets, throw rods, etc.

Hey GM isnt partners with Izuzu anymore so all chevy motors starting @ 2011 are ALL American motors...thus adds 45 more hp and 60 more ftlbs of torqe so they will still be the best truck :) even tho EFI Live is going to cummins too, it still wont add near as much power as it would to a Duramax, fords are only good for looks..they got nothin under the hood :) Chevy rules all. its on paper so no one can talk shit :)
