Saw Jimmy perform this Friday night in St. John's when he open for John Prine. I was so impressed by both of them that I went to see the Saturday night show as well. Always appreciated Jimmy when he was with the Rankin Family but he is a great solo artist as well. Loved that he signed autographs between acts.

Great Song, and a great new album for the summer! I remember Song Song was played non stop our summer of 2001 (??) ... it was our vacation theme CD I'm sure. Fantastic song! I always liked Jimmy Rankin, and this is just awesome. He's a real musician and if there is any justice, he should be on top of the music world. Plus, I saw interviews with him and he seems down to earth and like a really nice person. Here is a guy who deserves every bit of success as far as I can tell. Great stuff, I love this song. Just heard it for the first time 10 minutes ago, I have listened to nothing else since. Love it!
