The F355 driver does well, still look how much he loses on the gear change! Whilst the open gated gear lever may be a work of art, it's not the easiest to use.

This is the worst race i have ever seen!!! The lambo driver cant drive for crap! My grandma can driver better than him, this guy was shifting so early and too scared to do anything. Its more like he was learning to drive for the first time instead of racing, just a rich but brainless guy. And then He says thats the quickest hes stopped?? What a looser, he just cant drive period.

The lambo driver switching was way too soon. Leave it in 3rd. between 5,000-8,000rpm the power is tremendous and as soon as it red lines it would switch to 4th automatically with no harm to the E-gear. The Lambo can blow away this model Ferarri. The new 458 would give the LP640 a close race. I know this because I own a 2009 LP640.

The power is pretty crazy. Its doesnt have Auto mode like the gallardo so if you dont know how to work the gears you really miss out on fast this car can go to 100. I watch many races on You Tube where the LP-640 isnt driven right. Lots of drivers switch at 5,000 RPM. If you read the manual the power really comes on after that and it will switch automaticaly to the next gear without using the paddle. Its the only time it will switch by itself. Launch mode is unbelievable also.

Watching it again I can see what you are saying because when he is shifting it sounds as though there is much more there and it hasn't reached the peak. Where does the car redline? Thanks again for the info. Every day would be like Christmas if I could see one sitting in my garage. I'm sure you worked very hard to purchase one.

It Redlines at 8,000rpm. Your right about the hard work. Lots of saving up. I live on the East Coast so right now all I do is look at it in the garage. Between the pot holes and the salt everywhere it stays put. Im still about 6 weeks away from taking it out for a spin. If you have any other questions just let me know.
