WT is designed to be used in the street. And for the poor memory people, in the street you wear shoes or snicks, the floor is so tough, and you usually wear clothes that you don't want to tear up. That's why WT is designed to repeal an agression in less 15 seconds not for a challenge. IT'S SELDEFENSE, not more. I'm not a professional, I dont want to fight for 12 rounds 3 minutes each. I've read that lot of peolpe like to critic Victor Gutierrez, cause he's so good beating students, and this is a stupid demo and bla,bla,bla.. I'm a Sifu's Victor student, and what I've learned is that you only learn to fight is by fighting. That's the filosophy of all martial arts masters. That's why Karate has kumite, Contact sports has the drill, and more and more. WT has his own way.

But please before write a comment remember that WT is not focused to fight in a ring,or mat. (1/2)

answer to what´s the difference between wing tsun and wing chun:....there´s more like ving tsun or wing tjun but the difference is some train differently some are too technical,some are more practical,some are both and some show you how to fight in the floor type of ufc style,....they just different ways of training
