All these people talking about how "unsafe" it looks....this is one of the safest splitters I have seen. Most of these don't have any of the housing that this one does...its just a massive wheel spinning at moderately fast speeds with a maul head welded to it =P that being said, very nice splitter =]

I've seen faster. It was essentially 2 hatchet heads welded to a tractor-tire rim and a table with a hole for the hatchet head to pass through. Not safe whatsoever, but you could split a piece of wood into quarters in less than a seccond with it. :D
