Sea anenome So thats what its called!!!! About 3 years ago, I visited a tide pool and found this interesting creature. I took sea snails, broke the shell with a rock then fed them to the Sea Anenomes who quickly devoured them.
Veronica, Are you hiring? I want to be your Key Grip. Surely you need someone to help you go to all these fabulous places. Your videos keep getting so much better. Wow!
Hi Tim! It sure would be nice to have an extra hand! Thanks for the nice comment. We were quite busy during this recent shoot and filmed quite a few fun videos in Laguna. Now if only we could travel and actually relax, LOL!
Its at the Anjifa Beach in Kuwait. When I was like 5 or 7 Me and my brothers and Grandpa always go there after school and sometimes I get scared when I come to the tide pools (because of the crabs and sea snails). Its really a great time to go there in low tide and Anjifa Beach is an awesome place to have a picnic at sunset because sometimes I see people have a barbecue there and sometimes I see kids that have buckets and bottles for looking for sea life in those tide pools.
It sounds like an absolutely beautiful place! I love the smell of a barbecue at the beach, with the fresh wood fire and salty air. You can't beat it! Thanks so much for sharing your story. I can picture myself there right now! :) V
Thank you! I was surprised myself at how many creatures really live in there. I guess there are even octopi from time to time, but they disguise themselves pretty well. I also learned that an octopus can change colors with its surroundings, much like a chameleon. As always, thanks for commenting. You are always so kind. Veronica
Here in California as well! We spotted the opaleye, sculpin and a garibaldi during our outing at Treasure Island beach tide pool! Thanks for your comment!
This is amazing, just like the ones down at Corona Del Mar beach.

stopped at the Laguna tide pools last week, very neat though didn't care too much for the graffiti etched into the rocks but eventually will erode.

@yeomanrycavalry What a shame about the graffiti. Glad you enjoyed the tide pools however!

I have Tide Pools on the sea where I live but the only things me and my family can find are:
1 - Sea Snails
2 - Cuttlefish remains
3 - Crabs
4 - Sea Urchins
5 - Hermit Crabs
6 - Some worms that live under the rocks (I don't know what they are called)
7 - Sea Dollars
and last but not least
8 - Shrimp
