  • i miss my honey bee took me 5 months to buy working 20 hrs a week had it for 3 days and some punk tryed to grab the controler from me she crash at full thorttle and 150 ft up it was gone

  • damn. since i live int he uk, all super skids and awesome us sites have too much shipping :(

  • @felixthemaster1 - Same when trying to order from the UK from here.

  • @CrazyHeliDude /watch?v=f_Yv0kzegFo&feature=player_embedded

my firs t hover and crashes. in the video there a hige vinration at lower rpm3's. (just wach it please to see what i mean exactly) could u help me out?

  • @felixthemaster1 - You'll probably want to check the blade balance and check to see if there's a bent main shaft.

  • thanks for the great video...

check out the battery tray by super-skids - awesome add-on

  • @garbageguy - Thank you.

  • looking to get into helicopters soon looking for good tip thanks

  • Thanks man, good advice looking at getting one of the honey bee v2 will try it out cheers.....

  • @hormster - Glad it helped, happy flying.

  • i have a green one, love it

  • @dopeybear420 i personally think the green looks nicer lol, are they good for my first fp helicopter, after a co-axial?

  • @smallbigdumplin yea i would say so, i started out on air hogs moved to honey bee now im flyin a blade cp, the honeybee is a really good choice it really took me about a week to get it under control

  • @smallbigdumplin - I would say yes. The HBFP v2 is fairly easy to learn to fly. Doesn't do good in outdoor conditions if it's too windy, but on a calm day it's very nice.

  • @DifficultyisEasy - Never could figure out why ESky pictured it with the pack shove so far back. This was truer of the V1 but not the V2 :\

  • @Raingex - Nope. Just the colors of the canopies are different.

  • Very Helpful, thank you kindly.

  • @johnbambammorgan - Glad it helped :)

  • @flybar1000 - Often times there are 4 links on a 90 degree swash plate. You only really need to use two of the for elevator and aileron.

  • slowwww talk

  • @diegon2020 - Uh, what?

  • Dude, I wish I had watched this video before I headed out today with my new Honey Bee, as the balance was out and within in less than a minute, I ended up cracking/breaking the rotor head set.

  • You sound like on of those nature show guys...thats a compliment. :)

  • great job! i follow this tutorial and my hbfp eazy to hover! but now my swash plate are broke =( i wish they have cnc part here.. but all out of stock =(. any other heli swash place will fit to hbfp? like lamav4 swash plate. they have lots of spare part for lamav4 here =(

  • Have you looked into the Xtreme metal swash plate? I upgrade mine since this vid was made.

  • @CrazyHeliDude hey man how are ou? digg the vids, i got a question for you, does it make a big diffrence if you get the xtreme main shaft aswell? because i see you only have to blade holder. does it make a difrence? if its minimal then i wont even bother to change everything

  • Good work Rob. i've heard of this but yo've explained A LOT more clearly! My HBV2 should be coming soon and when it does i wont hesitate to do this! :D

    5* Sub. :)

  • @S95Will Thank you for the comment. Glad it's a help to you :)

  • :D I have shown this video to my friend :D

    Keep it up!! :D

  • @S95Will

Thanks for spreadin the word! Always nice to know what I do helps other people.

  • i see you have a diff tail blade. can you tell me a lil on Y? long story short. i have a Exceed RC Eagle 50. has the same tail blade as my HBFPv2 and i put a brushless mod on it and the gyro dont seem to work as well. i put a small prop on. and gyro seemed to work good. wondering if thats why you have a diff tail blade.?

  • I installed the Xtreme DD tail rotor because it is a bit more stable and faster responding than the stock tail. When installing a DD tail, you may have to experiment with different size tail rotors (length) and the pitch of the tail rotor to get just the right balance. For instance a 3035 tail prop would be 3 inches in length and 35 degrees of pitch. Check out GWS DD tail for more info about this.

  • Thanks for the balancing tip Rob. You did a great job for this heli newbie... :)

  • Glad I could help! :)

  • Also see you still have your flybar weights on, you are able to take them off, and it makes the heli a lot less sluggish, and it reacts quicker to your inputs on the controls.

  • I put the Super Paddles on without weight for outdoor flight. They're 9 grams lighter than the stock paddles. You can check them out at super-skids

  • Awesome video, the balance issue is the one of the first things you should sort out before flying any heli.

I noticed that you have your flybar paddles angled downwards??? Ive never worked out which is better for foward flight, angled down, flat, or up???? in your opinion what would help more with foward flight?

  • I angle them for indoor flight only. It creates a more stable hover and I have about 5x5 feet to work with. For outdoors and fast forward flight, keep them at 0 pitch, flat

  • Great presentation. Thank you.

  • Thanks for the great new videos! I just got a HBV2 a week ago, this i already knew but keep up the great work, subbed & 5*

  • Is the Esky Honey Bee FP V2 a good beginner or Falcon 40 Rc Helicopter

  • I've never flown the Falcon 40 but I believe it's similar to the Honey Bee V1. The HB V2 is a little more stable and durable than these helis.
