Yes, the AC works in this car. Nearly every option functioned as new except for the power antenna had some troubles. I have since sold this car, but it has a new caring owner that is enjoying it immensely. I now have a newport blue 54 Coupe Deville. I'll post videos of that car once it's completed
At about 2:16 you see the reostat that controlled the A/C fan. My grandmother had one of these and I used to aggravate her by playing with the switch. I think it was intended that the old lady ride in back. Not the kid. Takes me back to trips cross country in that monster. It sure ate the gas. Hers was black with grey inside. The a/c was necessary for the Texas heat. I remember the radios. My mom's Super 88 and dad's Coupe de Ville also had those Wonderbars. Magic.
i saw one of these a the Daytona Turkey Run yesterday and it was impressive and imposing even in it's rough state. Thais BEAUTIFUL thing is a breather taker for sure. GREAT CAR!
Im looking at getting a black Cadillac fleetwood in mint condition all orignal white leather interior and watching this video makes me want it more and more but i have to sell my 1971 Mercedes witch is in close to mint condition!!! God bless ya and beautiful car!
My first ride ever was in a 1956 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special. It's what my parents owned when I was born. They sold it before I could form any memories of it. Now I know what that ride was like. Nice car.

and yes...there are different fan speeds attainable by turning the control knobs at the head unit under the dash.

nice cah.
.
see how throatee the engine sounds? Those old GM cahs were loud but that's why they had good power.
.
half the fun is waiting for the radio to warm up.
.
Does the air conditioning blow cold air in this car? I remember REVERSE being all the way down in the shifter.
.
What a tank, Detroit at it's finest. Now I want to buy another.
