I agree that Beast Machines created controversy because of the concept of "technorganic beings" BUT the series which followed were much worse. Transformers Armada was fairly decent but Transformers Energon & Transformers Cybertron are pure garbage.
Beast Machines came out in 1999 and Transformers Energon in 2004 and Transformers Cybertron in 2005 but Beast Machines totally dominates in graphics & storyline!

The name was Dinobot and in the series, there were two clones, plus the original. One of them a Transmutated form in series 3, the other from series 1.
This is something that I would like to see aired on Teletoon Retro if they can get it from YTV. I think that this is far superior to Transformers Animated.
Perhaps because it was set after the original series and yet was a prequal to the events, which is why the only real character to re-appear was StarScream.

i find that most people that say that Beast Machines sucked never really understood it and stoppd watching it after a handful episodes. In reality Beast Machines is one of the depest, darkest, and tightest scripted stories in all Transformers history. Beast Machines is also full of references to previous Transfromers history. I would say rent the Rhino box set (now that it's finally available) and watch it over.
It was great at first. But if you watch all episodes you understand the evolution of them. For those who don`t know: Optimus died together with Megatron.

I have no idea what you mean. The frame rate is too sporadic during the first season intro for me, compared the the myriad other youtube efforts, plus the last season is a bit jerky and lacks the robotic growl when it says "beast wars". That bast machines trailer is interesting, would be better without the cheesy singing over it though.
people talk a lot of crap about Beast Machines, and sure it wasnt on Beast Wars level, but Machines actually had a pretty good story.

Morph - changing form doesnt have to make sense.
Transform - everything has to go somewhere else to make the new form w/o anyextra coming form an unknown source.
