  • It reminds me of a winter time scene as well... I just love how magical this feels

  • however it has been used in the simpsons and (possibly) and miramax

  • Let me straighten people out here. This song has not been used in ANY of the Harry Potter films. It has, on the other hand, been used in creating the theme of Beauty and the Beast and the love theme of True Blood. No more fights and/or ignorant comments please :)

  • vor allem der dicke Hai!!!!

  • Das Video inspiriert mich nicht....

  • It reminds me of the Beauty & the Best movie, someone else?

It's amazing anyways, I could hear it for hours.

  • This piece of music always gives me chills up and down my spine

  • I thought I recognized that turtle, that's probably the same goofy bugger I saw in 2009 when I was in Sydney.

  • i like how on all the videos of this song people comment "harry potter" in no movie or trailer of harry potter has this song every been played...

  • Harry Potter

  • @XXPENCHEXX Harry Potter :)

  • Heavy, coarse, flat performance.

  • It´s a very nice video and it´s cool ;) Welldone

  • The tempo is FRANTIC, go listen to the other versions. The piece is supposed to be calm and soothing!

  • @calico992 I agree, too fast, there is the magic missing. What a shame.

  • This is played some where in epcot at disneyworld. I just really can't remember where, but I love both so much!!

  • Beautiful (: I love this piece so much.

  • I was haunted by this piece eveer since hearing it on the soundtrack of Days of Heaven. I thought at the time it was composed for the movie, but my knowledge of classical music was somewhat poor. An amazing piece of music and makes me lapse into a dreamy state of mind.

  • Eeddssdsd

  • Love this Kylie had it at the begining of her concert it was soooooooooo amazing! : D

  • always loved this piece of music..i remember being impressed when it opened Kylie Minogue's " Les Folies " Tour this past summer..the lights went down and the screens were giant under water imagery with this music...stunning.....

  • This song was at the beginning of disneys " Beauty and the Beast" wasn't it? I love it:)

  • @rgbchivas77 Well maybe Alan Menken and Howard Ashman took their inspiration from Aquarium.

  • @rgbchivas77 i thought so too! but its not quite the same, in fact i found out that this music inspired the beauty and the beast opening. in fact i think they've borrowed ideas but its not the same piece of music

  • A winter percussion group called "Music City Mystique" used this for their show 2010. It's definitely worth checking out!

  • Harry Potter?

  • This is fucking magic.

  • this song reminds me of my childhood

  • Normally I am not to Classic. But since the times we had in class, I love classical music

  • this was used brilliantly in the curious case of benjamin button trailer

  • 4 metaleros perdidos

  • @Valdiri14 Porque metaleros?

  • Was soll man da noch sagen. Die Musik ist richtig unheimlich modern. Und das bei einem Werk, welches Ende des 19. Jh. geschrieben wurde.

    *****

  • you sped up the song. :/

  • Space mountain??

  • I am going to the beach and this is creeping me out. But I like it anyway.

  • This is a pretty fast version...

  • the sharks are sooooooo cute:D

  • Now I wanna go to the Zoo and to the Aquarium! but there isnt one where I am :c

  • @chloecookiex The prologue of Beauty and the Beast is VERY similar, it has the first bit of the 'chorus', if you will, as it's first line. :)

  • Is there...like some way I can download this??

  • @birgittaXD YOUTUBE CONVERTOR :D

    GO ON GOOGLE :P

  • This is too fast, but still I like it! Makes it.....really mysterious. And the sharks make this awesome.

  • awesome! what instruments are used?

  • strings are too loud here, we can't hear the piano =/

  • I LOVE this piece! In DisneyWorld, in Epcot, in France, theres a theater with this song in it.

  • @doubleexpressso YES. That would be Impressions de France. The BEST attraction in all of Disney. I see it three or four times in a row every time I go to Epcot.

  • @Fyraxis Yes indeed it is. I got chillbumps on that attraction listening to this music and had to search to find the music. It's amazing!! Love this!

  • my teacher told me that this is part of harry potter and the goblet of fire

  • Old fashioned psychodelic music!

  • this is so cool i can really feel it...you know?

  • Quantum / transcendental

  • beautiful...the only word which can describe this.

  • you are bastard !! motherfucker,asshole !!!.... it's very good,perfect !! bravo!!

  • Is it just me...or is the tempo on this a little too fast?

  • I first heard this in The Simpsons, in the episode called The Wife Aquatic... I really like it, it's so mysterious

  • cool <3

  • I love this piece, first heard it in a movie trailer when I was four or five, and now, after all these years, I know what it's called. THe best use I've seen it put to was in a documentary with some very old Victorian-era footage. Very mysterious, creepy, and almost sad.

  • The Music fits good with these Video, the Animals wandering around in their skins, its carnival.

  • I LOVE THIS MUSIC....i cant help it it atracts me like the historys about cristmas and kings and all this when i was a child...it always remembers me. Dream world...would be a better title 4 this masterpiece.

  • H-holy crap! I've heard this in Scooby Doo!!

  • this is nearly note for note Beauty and the Beast...Did Disney take this song to do that?

  • @moviemaster35 No, the music from Beauty and the Beast has been completely composed by Alan Menken. Perhaps he has been inspired by this music but it isn't he same, I can assure you ;)

  • nostalgic

  • lovely. I always associate this song with beauty and the beast...but since it is titlted 'aquarium,' your video to go along with the music is very appropriate. I like it! As others have said, it feels mystical and like a child's curious looking into an aquarium...but I'm sorry, I still like the beauty and the beast remake more!

  • .... a tady je to dokonalé ..... *****

  • I've always loved this dreamy, mystical piece, and your beautiful shots of the Sydney aquarium have made it even better. Thanks for posting this!

  • I love it! have you seen the video of Libera singing it? Amazing!

  • How come I keep thinking that this song was in on of the Harry Potter movies?

    Awesome piece though.

  • @animexluverxnhu: *One of

  • @animexluverxnhu You're not the only one. I can't put my finger on it, but there was a piece similar to this one in one of the movies. :P

  • @DarleenCole: I know, right? D:

  • @animexluverxnhu Kinda creepy. D:

  • @DarleenCole It was in "Days of Heaven " and "Beauty and the Beast."

  • @animexluverxnhu It is very similar to the Prologue to Beauty and the Beast, as well as the West Wing (Where Belle goes snooping)

Look up Beauty and the Beast Prologue Instrumental and you'll see what I mean

  • @dawnia2007: OMG I REMEMBER THAT! O_O

  • @dawnia2007 THAT'S why it sounds so familiar... :D

  • In CTTR at Once Upon a Tire, if you lose the final lap at 6th-8th place, this is heard.

  • Un artiste fabuleux et merveilleux bien de chez nous! Quelle musique et quel charisme! Ne m'étonne pas que DISNEY l'ai reprise pour faire la Belle et la Bête...

  • it so nice!

  • This song is from the movie casper that classic movie!!!!!!!!!!

  • hey is it me or could tchaikovsky have written it? it is pretty his style...

of course it's saint saens but just the style reminds me of tchaikovsky

  • @Camicente

Sounds very Tchaikovsky'esque at the piano solo parts

  • I love this music! I remember doing a drawing about it. It was at school and we had to listen to this tune and sort of draw what came to our mind. What came to my mind was swimming underwater, going through caves and through kelp with lots of fish swimming every where and then coming out the other side of the kelp and seeing an underwater castle with! And I did not know what the music was called until I went to work last week and they played Carnival of the Animals for the children!

  • absolutely wonderful !! Such delightful music... thank you so much for posting !!

  • this song is from beauty and the beast right???? I mean not originally but I think I did hear this in beauty and the beast

  • This song is used in a lot of films. And I'm not surprised, it's such a good song and you can use it as a sound track to many settings and moods.

  • LOVE this song!

  • harry pootter defo!!

  • The first time I heard this I thought it was "Nutcrackers in Space!" or something.

  • sounds like its from harry potter or beauty and the beast

  • Beautiful and relax music and video. Thanks :)

  • wow. Breath taking.

  • this melody is magic... sry for my horrible english

  • this is actually played at part of the sydney aquarium where this vid was shot. the tank with all the fishes in, not the shark one

    (sorry, i hate english)

  • I love the tune!! But I always tought it has something creepy so I tought it was from a spooky movie or something.. haha :P

  • Yeah it sounds like something Danny Elfman would make (Edward scissor hands / Sleepy Hollow)

  • LOVE IT! i remember playing this in 9th grade!

  • Sounds hard to play. Keewl

  • wonderful!

  • This is a very nice song, and I heard it on a TV show too

  • its so creepy

  • How so? I've always found this piece to be mysterious.

  • yeah I agree, when is a spooky bit in babe they play this!

love this the theme from babe

  • I have to agree with ADHDfox, as a kid this music used to give me the creeps. Now I just find it eerily beautiful, like a ghost couple dancing or something.

  • its definetly eerily beautiful, but its never given me the creeps but i can see where ya coming from

  • @WROrchestra I can see where he's coming from, actually. There is definitely a fantastical, almost magical feel to it. It reminds me of a child's naive curiosity. I can almost picture someone gazing in wonderment at the vast beauty of a strange, and slightly scary new land. It draws them closer, lulling them in to a state of serenity, despite the immanent danger. It's foreboding and ominous, but also mysterious and exciting. The house of candy in the story of Hansel and Gretel comes to mind...

  • @WROrchestra It brings back very unhappy memories, but the music itself is beautiful, I love Saint-SaejsmCarnival of Animals but this piece just scares me.

  • @ADHDfox I think that is creepy if you think that is creepy, I don't think it's creepy, I think it's really beautiful and relaxed

  • fantastic video! 5 STAR, definitely!

  • great !!

  • love it, perfect sound,. would love to hear something from jaws,. maybe endtitle, yeah that would be fun,. cause this sounded just fantastic

  • Thanks. I'm quite pleased with how this came out. I've done the Jaws theme but that's the only music I have from any of the Jaws films.

  • yeah i know you did that theme,. but i think It could be done so much better,. cause the version you have sounds a bit of,. not scary enough and to much trupets and stuff ,. if it was toned down a little and made simpler,. ithink Jaws theme had been very very good,. please please make more themes cause i think you are very good at it
