@petegrimsby unraid is free up to 3 drives. 3 data drives, or 2 data + 1 parity. There's no point doing this with only one drive. Not sure about 360. I remember it only working with PC streaming via MediaPlayer so unless it works with SMB shares I'd say no.
@GroceryBagHead iv installed unraid. ittakes round 4 minites to put a video file 1.20gb onto the nas.however when i try to watch that video (stream to pc) it dont work. do you think this is because i need to use a gigabyt pci lan card? cheersfor any help mate really appriciate it :)
@petegrimsby With a gigabit ethernet I get about 45MB/s down and about the same up (with cache drive). I'd check unraid forums if you have any problems.
i only want to use 1 harddrive. so will this unraid be free for life? also do you no if i can assess the video files on unraid on a xbox 360 ?

@theicemanblog Coolermaster Centurion with 4in3 drive cages. Pretty good cheap case to cram 12 drives in.
