@etienne214 totally just realized that you're the one that put up a wonderful "My Body is a Cage" cover that I lost track of. I should probably subscribe lol. Done.
You sir, are amazing. I love the way you sing and play piano, it's just amazing. I take voice lessons but I wish wish wish I could take piano. I think it's so beautiful. <3 Especially how you play. =] You are a star.
thank you!!! i'm sure you would be able to play this song with some devotion. charlotte is a great piano player. thanks so much for your awesome comment!!!
That was absolutely wonderful!! I've been a huge Charlotte Martin fan for SO long and this is my favorite song. I have searched so hard for the sheetmusic for this. Do you have it or did you just figure it out by ear? PLEASEEEE help if you can!!! Again, lovely lovely job :)
yes i also absolutely adore charlotte!!! she is beyond phenomenal. i actually learnt the song by ear so i can't help you out! but i have some sources i will send to you in a message.
i stumbled upon this while looking for anything charmar related here on youtube... and i just needed to let you know how mind-blowingly incredible i think you are. as another male, piano-playing, songwriting charmar fan, and having a deep personal connection to this particular song, hearing it from a male perspective almost moved me to tears. unlike a lot of covers out there, you give this completely song new dimensions. it's astounding.
wow thank you very very much!! that was an incredible comment nd i really appreciate you watching even if it was a stumble! ha ha. i can't wait for orpahns to come out. i listened to one of the new songs on her myspace and was really really digging it. but i hope to see some videos from you soon! thanks again and thanks for the awesome post.
I just knew it. I have never heard this song before but when you began so softly, something told me this wasn't going to be a four minute long ballad style presentation. I felt it was going to build to an incredible climax, and holy hell (pardon my Turkish) did it ever. Ted, you're a true acolyte of the music. A humble servant, not a pretentious would-be master. I know Charlotte from her first album (w. Limits of Our Love) and her cover of Cloudbusting. Keep playing... I'll be listening!
thanks so much!!! your comments have meant a lot and so has your listening. and as for you, you yourself would also be a conduit for great artistic talent. i shall also be listening for you. and check out "stromata." if you like choirgirl would would also seriously enjoy stromata by charlotte. and my stalking has taught me your name is brian?
You're very welcome. I will take that suggestion to heart and investigate Stromata next time I look for new music. Is that the album that includes "Bones" by any chance? I've heard parts of it if so, but never had the chance to dive into it. My name is Brian, no need to use words like "stalking" cause the information is right there and there's nothing creepy about learning things. I do love Choirgirl. It's my favorite, although Scarlet's Walk vies with it for that title occasionally. :-)
no "bones" is off an EP called "veins" which is also a phenomenal song. you can find that on itunes too. that EP is absolutely spectacular. oh that's good! scarlet was never really in my top though i do have favorites from it. i loved tori's first 5 albums to death. scarlet lost me a bit as did the beekeeper but americn doll posse drew me right back in. the beekeeper was released while i was studying in france and the day i got it, i had already planned a trip to st. maries de la mer!
Thank you! I will remember that when I begin exploring her. She has been so highly recommended, by you and Ted. I recently received a Mix CD from a friend (who could that be?) that is helping me get back into other artists. Discovering Tori was... well, all-consuming and overwhelmingly wonderful to say the least. :-)
haha...n/m hi brian! I really should have clicked on your name and inspected your profile b4 I asked such a silly question...I did after I posted that last question and there was your face plastered all over your profile lol
this is great! please please please cover the dance!

Hey wbarreguy,
I would recommend Charlotte's "Test-Drive Songs" if Choirgirl is your fav. T album - you can download it on iTunes. :D It's sooooo good.
