  • Yeah, I know, he does.

  • Well, tigers are more dangerous than lions

  • why dont they tell the world that Aesop Fabel was a African. White people are always stealing African stories and putting a twist on it. same thing with Jesus. They stole the African story of Horus and turned it into a blond hair blue eye hippie looking skinny man on a cross. Im not racist but just give Africa its credit and stop stealing shit.

mary and jesus = Aset and Horus

Adam and Eve= Asar and Aset

the list goes on but im running out of characters.

    educate yourself.

  • Lol classic.

  • niice

  • The only thing I hate about the moral is that its telling you to, of course, be satisfied with who you are. But what if you strive to be something greater? What if you would be really good at it?

Its like its telling me to not have ambitions.

  • why does the tiger have to wash clothes while he and his wife aren't really wearing anything?!?!?!?!

  • i like how the tiger cub teases his dad at 2:25. i used to do that to my dad when i was a kid, haha

  • This is a great video! I played it for my schoolkids in Korea and they loved it.

  • What a bad decision!

I am talking about the Lion.

  • This is funny XD!

  • The narrator sounds like Baloo the Bear

  • Well tigers do get hungry!

  • You bet! One could eat on my school any minute!

  • When did this cartoon come out?

  • This was originally released in 1960, and was the last of the "Aesop's Fables" series. Directed (and co-animated) by Connie Rasinski, story by Tom Morrison, and music by Philip A. Scheib. Jim Tyer animates a few sequences towards the end...

  • @fromthesidelines I think jim tyer is an weird and crazy animator, he was born in 7 February 1904, Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA

then he was dead in March 1976, Fairfield, Connecticut, USA

  • Yeah. This is the Fifties for ya.

Nowadays, this cartoon wouldn't even be scripted from Word One. But back in those simpler, more brutal, less P.C. days, this was no eyebrow-raiser. And actually, considering Terytoons history, this wasn't a bad one for them!

  • Little children get eaten in this cartoon - YIKES!

  • This is the only cartoon I can think of where a grade-school kid eats his classmates!

  • And he tricks them too. Pretty much an evil prince.
