you didn't even bother mentioning the "Hell Mode" option when you beat the demo? I'm slightly disappointed. If the demo's first run didn't prove to be satisfying trust me when I say Hell Mode will almost certainly sway your opinion. NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART

What's even more satisfying is the game itself....

And once you've played it, you will see the "Revelation" Capcom was talking about.... and it's a biggie.... We all knew it was going to happen after the first trailer.... but somewhere along the line Capcom decided they revealed too much it, so they delibratly confused us by not featuring it explicitly in later trailers.... HE'S BACK!

I really, really want this game, but it's going to be $50 at release and I don't have a ton of cash and I also refuse to buy a handheld game for $50. The reason I mostly play handhelds is because the games are cheaper than consoles. I loved the demo and I love the RE series (The originals and RE4 & 5.), but Id rather wait until it lowers to $40 or $30. Good review!

i bought the game yesterday and alredy beat it ( on easy ) and its not as linear as RE 4/5 but its still not as nonlinear like the old RE ( 1/2 ) it´s like Metroid Fusion, you now wher do you have to go but you have to figure it out yourself how to get to your goal

This game has incredible graphics! Definitely the best looking game on the 3DS I've ever seen.

Too damn scary for my taste, though. I also think it would've been cool of them to give an option for gyroscopic aiming when using the gun.

Gyro Aiming is pretty cool. I played the demo alot and it seems like I'm going to use 1st person aiming, with the gyro. The only problem is, 3D has to be turned off. I'm surprised you didn't say, hell mode is unlocked when you beat the demo.

After playing this, the Ooze have proven their potential for me. Being able to come from anywhere, they gave me quite the startle. In addition the portability, combined with the ship setting, truly allows the claustrophobia to set in. It's a shame the moments where this is most effective, being alone on the ship, are limited in the final product.

I live in the U.K and I just got this game today, I've played about four chapters so far and I have to say I'm very impressed with what I've seen. The graphics are great, gameplays great and the story's delightfully cheesy. I will say though even though the game has a great atmosphere especially on the ship, I wish the game wouldn't put you with a partner 95% of the time, because the parts where the game doesn't are legitimately scary. Oh and err kinda spoiler alert :P

No they do not. The camera's just in a different position. THAT IS ALL. All 4 did was move the camera and make aiming more manual. Other than that it's literally the same. The controls were not changed.

@edward18517 they didnt intentionally unleash a zombie outbreak, but they did more or less create every strain of it in the RE games so far (the strains we saw in RE1-3+CV, RE4, RE5, and presumably whatever strain Revelations has, looks like there's new monsters in this one), failed to contain it several times, and yes Wesker screwed them over but the backlash against them after the events of RE2 did more than enough to bring their downfall.
