Good work sir, I too only really started getting into Warhammer to paint them as I thought the rules could be a little limiting to what you could do and I didn't really understand the rest. I have as of today started to play but only as part of a college film project, painting models as I type this in fact. I enjoy the amount of creativity you can have with these models which is much to the reason I chose to do warhammer as my film project other then some thing like monopoly.

have you done anything with necrons, i really need advice for future heavy destroyers i build on getting that damn green rod into the gun all of my other models where easy but that one was a pain in the ass and it looks like shit right now, plus does anyone know if the green putty stuff will work to hold the heavy destroyer to his base i fucked it up by trying to glue it on now i have to get it fixed somehow if any one knows the best way please tell me.

i too am just a painter and modler i dont game for the same resons but ive noticed with your space marines that you have like reverse highlights on them (were the sholderpad and rim meet) should be the darkest of the paert yet you painted it the brightest...why did you chose to go that direction? it looks hyper-realistic to me (like tron lol)

If you are not interested in playing, and you make those elaborate bases, you could use models from different armies to create dramatic combat scenes if you wanted. I wish I could paint as good as you.

good work for only four months. One tip I will give you is to try thinnig ypour paints with some water. This makes the overall appearance smoother and the transition between colours when highlighting not as stark.

On the base of the Dwarf I think it shall be two or one Dwarf infront of him and a Night Goblin as are right in front of them. So the Dwarf like command his soldiers to atatck the night goblin. And that with the dead space marine is so GREAT! You should be with a competition! And why should the commander stand over there then? It's make it look like he killed the other Space Marine. But you have painted them really good=)

Anyway, great painting, nice work with the green stuff although I think the cape looks a little too soft, maybe not making it go so deep inwards.

I think that is professionally done.One thing thought, the purity seals you could put some righting on them, but thats just my opinion.

the greenstuff cloak isn't really 'aligned'.

it just doesn't looksone with the model.

it might look better if you'd make it sort of wave in the wind.

the fallen space marine on the other hand is a masterpiece.

I used cork tiles that you can by in any DIY shop, which i then paint black, next i paint the top grey and drybrush the sides grey, the finally i drybrush it all white.
