Sure, maybe Reyes gets a little animated sometimes and he may get carried away on the field, aren't the Phillies guilty of that also? But I meant being professional when it comes to what you say. Reyes and the others don't trash talk and didn't call the Phillies choke artists when the Mets advanced that year when the Phillies went nowhere. We are a better team now with K Rod and Putz in the bullpen and our bullpen was the main thing that hurt us last year.

The Mets may have improved with Nim-Rod & Putz....but I believe J-Roll said it best, it takes a team to win a championship. You can pay for the all the high price talent all you want like the '97 Marlins & The Yanks did, but until you make it something tangiable on paper, it don't mean dick.

Sorry all great teams weren't made in 1962. haha. There are only 3 current teams that's been around longer then the phillies, cubs, pirates, and the cards. The funny thing is the Mets only have .010th better win percentage. Pretty pathetic since they are just a baby compared to the phillies. Lets not forget they also were dubbed the worst team in baseball from 1962 and still hold the worst record in a season. I love bitter Mets fans. There hilarious in there dillusion. They can keep saying 1 in 46 vs. 1 in 100 plus and stuff like that. The way I like at it is I have something they don't a World Series Champions DVD. I watch it everyday and remember how much better it is being a Phillies fan than a Mets fan. Lets just look at theese stats you brought up "we scored more runs,hits, Sbs,Triples,Besides Hrs Check the stats Buddy!" Runs - both teams had 799. So your lying, the Mets did not have more. Hits - you did have more. Sbs you had a whopping two more, while the Phillies had the best sb% in the majors, making us the smarter team. Triples you had 2 more(probably left both of those runners on 3rd). We had more homers, RBIs, extra base hits, and total bases. Live with it, The Phillies are better!
