  • This video is great, thanks! Can you tell me how wide the fabric needs to be?

  • made my own using this tutorial. came out awesome my son looks cool and i saved green. oh and i bought my rings on ebay... its a good place to find .. well anything =] happy sewing. and thanks luvsmyupsman .... oh i get it now.. haha =]

  • 24 1/2 inches

  • I have sewn the material and I bought some slingsthat are 2 1/8 " at JoAnns but they are too small. What is the right size? the material is 97 % cotton and 3% spandex. Your video did help for me even though I am not great at sewing. Please rsp asap. Thank you.

  • Could you please tell me the width of your fabric?

  • Thank you very much for your video. I love it. I'm a person that learns by watching and this is perfect for me. thanks a lot.

  • Thank you this is a great video and I went to the site you recommended for the rings. I wish I had made one of these when I had my little guy. I wanted a sling and they were like 60 dollars so I just never got one. I am going to make this for my sister in law:)!!!!!!!

  • This is a great video that is simple and easy to understand for someone that is just beginning to sew. Do you have any videos on how to sew the rings on the sling? I want to make one as a gift for my friend but I'm worried she might get a little confused if she has to put both sides together.

  • I don't have a video for sewing them on b/c all of mine are unsewn. BUT, you can find instructions by searching "Jan Andrea Ring Sling" in any search engine. She is a GREAT sling resource.

  • how would i go about making a paddad ring sling. searched it online but couldnt find one that would tell me without charging

  • this is so helpful. this will be my second child. my son will only b two by the time i give birth so i think using a sling will help me alot. can you use any fabric? do u recomend a specific material?

  • My favorite material is called Stretch Sateen, which is 97% cotton/3% spandex. It is a little difficult to find, however. You can use almost any fabric. Just look around for one that you really like. I have used calicos, silk brocade, and flannel before.

  • I have no sewing machine :( I will sew the sides together to make a hem myself, if i have to, but i'd really rather not. lol What about fabric glue, or iron-on adhesive? Do you think it would hold?

  • I have one sling that I didn't sew the long edge together - it is just a big piece of fabric folded in half like a hot dog. You will still probably have raw edges on the top and bottom - fabric glue or iron-on adhesive would work just fine for that. It's just for a hem to look nice, it won't be bearing any weight or anything. Good luck!

  • Look so easy -even I could do it. Also I wish I had seen this video before purchasing an expensive ring sling on ebay!!!
