"Lost in Translation" ein sehr sehenswerter und nachdenklich machender Film!!! den ich immer mal wieder ansehe. Hier der "Titelsong" Live!! Auch einfach Super!!!
Im surprised these guys are still alive. Kids use this as inspiration, it is possible to excessively use drugs and still rock in your later years! DARE
saw the chain in 86 in london at hammersmith palace destorted as fuck loud as fuck had whistling ears for days they played for over half hour there longest show at the time john peel was at the gig i got tinittis now 25 years on hey who gives a fuck louder the better punks not dead ooow yes it is o i got two copies ov psychocandy just in case ha ha long live the chain
I so loved this song when it came out. We all bought Psychocandy in 85 and we were happy about this record because it rocked. But to see thes guys still alive and kicking in the 20xx makes me happier than ever. I might be frikkin old now and time drew deep scars into my face but, the fuck, nothing changed. I still love this song and still love this kind of music. Cheers!
I love this song. Pretty much what turned me on to JAMC. I actually uploaded a song a while ago in the same vein as their stuff although a little bit noisier.

@juttkeys you couldn't be any wronger man, don't forget a tv broadcast has the sound coming straight from the mixer and not the pa.. if you had seen one of their shows you wouldn't have such opinions.. but you're not the only one. I don't know a single person who saw the 2007 tour who had bad thoughts about their shows.. I saw two and they were both amazing
@crelp74 Look it might be missing whatever jutkeys says he gets but it is the best version they have done so thanks for posting. By the way Honey , esp Manuka honey, has great curative properties and will not make you skin break out like the other honey.
I know many people (not referring to you, just speaking in general) aren't fine watching these videos but you have to bear in mind that (1) this is a pro recording from mixer not from pa so this isn't even 70% their live experience (2) they distanced themselves from that 'noise only' attitude so they would never sound like 84-85 anymore, they never did after Psychocandy
@crelp74 Yeah that kinda bugs me. Not that they made bad albums after psychocandy. Actually quite the contrary. But still miss the feedback and reverb.
@juttkeys Well, they are older now.... and music with any band evolves. I like it, it's a good version of the song.... and you'd be pretty foolish to think that any band tour to not make money.... there's nothing wrong with a band getting together to tour to make some money.
@juttkeys Do you really expect them to sound the same after all this time? Besides, Just Like Honey has no feedback in it anyway, and as far as I know, a lot of stuff after Psychocandy doesn't have feedback either.
omg i love this song use to listen to this song on my walkman haha great band
from lost in translation whata amovie They should have a sequal to that movie
i wonder where bill murray and scarlet johansoan would be?? would they bein a relationship would bill murrau leave his wife for her?? What did he whipser in her ear at the end of the movie?
well that's always been their philosophy in songwriting: they would only go for a song that sounded good acoustic first. agree if you say that it doesn't sound as special, but still the melodies make the song this fine. same goes with 'you trip me up'.. although I know the noise makes them more powerful and 'personal', they always rejected the overtalk about feedback claiming they only wanted to write good pop songs.
all these people saying it sounds bad... if you listen to the some candy talking vid from the same show jim says he cant hear himself at the end... and its live not studio and almost twenty years later
Kevin Spacey does Psychocandy.. live and in Concert!!

Seriously, where are the squalls of white noise and feedback? That's what made the song...
KevinNaaaaaa 2 years ago 3
no, what made the song was two very good songwriters coming up with a great melody and lyrics.
liveforever222 2 years ago 5
I respectfully disagree. If someone was to play this song with just an acoustic guitar it would be shit. Even if that someone was Jim Reid himself.
KevinNaaaaaa 2 years ago
well that's always been their philosophy in songwriting: they would only go for a song that sounded good acoustic first. agree if you say that it doesn't sound as special, but still the melodies make the song this fine. same goes with 'you trip me up'.. although I know the noise makes them more powerful and 'personal', they always rejected the overtalk about feedback claiming they only wanted to write good pop songs.
