  • Kevin Spacey does Psychocandy.. live and in Concert!!

  • "Lost in Translation" ein sehr sehenswerter und nachdenklich machender Film!!! den ich immer mal wieder ansehe. Hier der "Titelsong" Live!! Auch einfach Super!!!

  • Bell'idea riprendere i cellulari mentre stanno suonando i jesus!

  • I am totally LOST in translation.

  • Hopelessly in love with this band.

  • FUKING CANERA CONTROLLING.

  • Awesome..one of my favourite bands...

  • Im surprised these guys are still alive. Kids use this as inspiration, it is possible to excessively use drugs and still rock in your later years! DARE

  • saw the chain in 86 in london at hammersmith palace destorted as fuck loud as fuck had whistling ears for days they played for over half hour there longest show at the time john peel was at the gig i got tinittis now 25 years on hey who gives a fuck louder the better punks not dead ooow yes it is o i got two copies ov psychocandy just in case ha ha long live the chain

  • What a perfect band!!

  • Such a great song - are the JAMC still playing together?

  • @ianrussll apparently there might be a Psychocandy tour soonish

  • @ianrussll Yes They will be in Houston Texas at House Of Blues in about 2 weeks! :) They are currently on Tour!

  • I so loved this song when it came out. We all bought Psychocandy in 85 and we were happy about this record because it rocked. But to see thes guys still alive and kicking in the 20xx makes me happier than ever. I might be frikkin old now and time drew deep scars into my face but, the fuck, nothing changed. I still love this song and still love this kind of music. Cheers!

  • happier times in oslo :)

  • I love this song. Pretty much what turned me on to JAMC. I actually uploaded a song a while ago in the same vein as their stuff although a little bit noisier.

  • watch Lost in Translation, Love it,,,, it fits. J & m Sounds tuned in. thanks.Nice to hear again!!!

  • wavves sounds similar

  • Did nobody notice those were "spoons" on the roof?!!?

  • sexy

  • no feedback, no sound like they used to, no dignity but £

  • @juttkeys you couldn't be any wronger man, don't forget a tv broadcast has the sound coming straight from the mixer and not the pa.. if you had seen one of their shows you wouldn't have such opinions.. but you're not the only one. I don't know a single person who saw the 2007 tour who had bad thoughts about their shows.. I saw two and they were both amazing

  • @crelp74 Look it might be missing whatever jutkeys says he gets but it is the best version they have done so thanks for posting. By the way Honey , esp Manuka honey, has great curative properties and will not make you skin break out like the other honey.

  • @crelp74 Are they really as distorted as Psychocandy?

  • @comedyliker12 not THAT noisy, but well worth.

I know many people (not referring to you, just speaking in general) aren't fine watching these videos but you have to bear in mind that (1) this is a pro recording from mixer not from pa so this isn't even 70% their live experience (2) they distanced themselves from that 'noise only' attitude so they would never sound like 84-85 anymore, they never did after Psychocandy

  • @crelp74 Yeah that kinda bugs me. Not that they made bad albums after psychocandy. Actually quite the contrary. But still miss the feedback and reverb.

  • @crelp74 Doubts. By the way it's not wronger.

  • @juttkeys Well, they are older now.... and music with any band evolves. I like it, it's a good version of the song.... and you'd be pretty foolish to think that any band tour to not make money.... there's nothing wrong with a band getting together to tour to make some money.

  • @juttkeys Do you really expect them to sound the same after all this time? Besides, Just Like Honey has no feedback in it anyway, and as far as I know, a lot of stuff after Psychocandy doesn't have feedback either.

  • WHERE IS THE NOISE

  • i soooo envy these guys on the roof!!!

  • ...bored by themselves.... lame performance, just awful..

  • Comment removed

  • Did he forget the melody of his own song?

  • its sad how half the people there dont even know them and much less the songs guess they needed the money......sad, such an amazing band.

  • I am Jesus and Mary Chain and you are too. It was a part of us. It inspired us. We ruled.

  • how did william reid get that fat?

  • Ahahahah 1:00 they're so funny!! It's like they're really enjoying everything around them

  • 2007??? I thought they disbanded in 1999..... did they get back together to play again??

  • @PANZERSCHREK78 yesh

  • Best times was the 80's, fuck how i miss that time!!!!

  • Just like shit.

  • you have set list of concert man - please i need to make order os sequence!!!!!

  • Why is Taylor Hicks singing JAMC???

  • Andy Warhol

  • Beautiful song!

  • amo este tema***

  • "Where's the noise?" Try the 80s.

This is good, dunno what you're all moaning about.

  • Remember being smashed outta my skull @ 2 AM and playing this song at max volume. FECK FECK FECK!

  • where's the fucking noise? I wish I was old enough to have seen them in the 80's.

  • Say I'll be your plactic toy in Schmookakla

  • some reverb pleeeeeeease!!!

  • Sorry Jim. You should have left it dead and buried after all these years.

  • the guy is out-of-tune

  • l'amico è davvero stonato!!

  • da cosisch quando el gremzet ceruleus.. 2:36 !!!

    so good!

sorry ego non hablo your languaggio.. :-(

  • SO glad I came across this video! I love J&MC!

  • this oslo show is just so f---ing good I catch it all the time thanx for posting it

  • thanks for sharing this

  • some reverb on the vocals really wouldve enhanced their set

  • A TON of reverb would make it even better.

  • is the guy in 1:48 really having ear-buds while the band is playing?!

  • i hope i will write songs this good

  • I love it!!!

  • 0:14: goosebumps

  • its sooooooooooo good !!!!!!!

  • 1:01 dark side of the spoon

  • Hey, when playing live they face their audience now.

  • @radjohns I remember seeing them live in the old days and a 20 min set with their backs turned to you was all you'd get for your money

  • so great *.*

  • Must have been some concert. Oslo, what a cool name for a city.

  • it's sooooooooooo good

  • Jim looks like a mash up of Adam Yaunch, Sid Vicious and Thom Yorke

  • inestimably sad

  • Sad...in which way? Poignant?

  • they're better than ever. wow! they totally defy age.

  • Like a fine wine, they just get better with age, unlike most modern bands which are corked!!!!

  • jesus and mary chain are scotts who dont sing with their accents

  • Is that similar to some american rock stars singing with a british accent?

  • It's funny to see the West finally catching up to Japan with cell phone use

  • Nokia is from Europe you idiot.

  • epic.<3

  • so what does the name jesus and mary chain mean?

  • my educated guess would be that its like Rosary beads.

  • omg i love this song use to listen to this song on my walkman haha great band

from lost in translation whata amovie They should have a sequal to that movie

i wonder where bill murray and scarlet johansoan would be?? would they bein a relationship would bill murrau leave his wife for her?? What did he whipser in her ear at the end of the movie?

  • u could actually find a clip here to hear what he said,,and no no no no sequel pls..the movie's perfect

  • Awesome updated versian of this song

  • twenty years on and they still sound great as if it was yesterday

  • This is a great version of this song.

  • where's the hair?

  • Its called age mate!..at least they aint bald.

Anyway, its the music that counts.

  • still sounding great- even after 20+ years. Love it

  • dude i love this song when its playing on lost and translation.

  • Yeah, the music was better than the film though.

  • hey know dude i like the film . should have had a sequel . i mean its in japan after all .

  • Ok mate, I thought it was a bit pretentious

but hey each to their own.(Mind you Scarlet was scrumptuous in it) I'll give you that. Lol

  • How amazing is it to see The JAMC and Loz from Ride drumming?

  • epic

  • where's the noise?

  • Seriously, where are the squalls of white noise and feedback? That's what made the song...

  • no, what made the song was two very good songwriters coming up with a great melody and lyrics.

  • I respectfully disagree. If someone was to play this song with just an acoustic guitar it would be shit. Even if that someone was Jim Reid himself.

  • well that's always been their philosophy in songwriting: they would only go for a song that sounded good acoustic first. agree if you say that it doesn't sound as special, but still the melodies make the song this fine. same goes with 'you trip me up'.. although I know the noise makes them more powerful and 'personal', they always rejected the overtalk about feedback claiming they only wanted to write good pop songs.

  • The best songs are those that work in almost whatever arrangement they're wrapped up in. Those are the timeless songs.

  • Yeah your bang on there!!

  • @KevinNaaaaaa hey baby this song is great is just a concert........ but jesus are great even in concert

  • this is me now :( sad but kinda exciting

  • excellent even live years later

  • Comment removed

  • luv you...

  • all these people saying it sounds bad... if you listen to the some candy talking vid from the same show jim says he cant hear himself at the end... and its live not studio and almost twenty years later

  • No back up vocals. makes him sound not good enough

  • fucking awesome band

  • Holy smoke, Jimbo's 47. There's hope for us all.

  • yeah , his voice doesn't sound like 1988 ... because it's 2007 here you idiots..!!

  • who else played at this outdoor show

  • man this sounds bad compared to 1988

  • Your ears were better in 88 perhaps

  • No, in 88 his voice was far better. Now, he really sucks at the mic. Unfortunately.

  • top notch performance, just wish they turned the reverb up to unbearable levels

  • no thats some rich kid waving his sidekick in the air

  • I have to be leaving now, but I won't let that come between us, ok? Our FAVE song from OUR Movie, right my gorgeous THUG?' LOVE ALWAYS, B XXXXXXX

  • Is that pete doherty in the crowd at 0.52 and 1.48 ???

  • He's got the head bob

  • I've had this song in my head all day! So great!

  • JUST LIKE A MOBILE PHONE ADVERT

  • these live performances in oslo are the best I´ve found =)

  • jim is still a hottie!

  • William Reid looks just like Tim Burton!

  • or like a Robert Smith without make up... but a little bit more like Burton

  • And also a bit like Almodóvar.

  • One of the most beautifull songs I´ve ever heard

  • He's certainly aged well.

  • Is it just me or is Jim looking more and more like a 20 something movie star?
