emmoiv you have hit upon a great idea. Phil X noodles. They could come in different cool flavours and have a free guitar string in the packet, like the most commonly broken, top E. Mind you in todays health and safety conscious age they would need to have a major warning on the packet otherwise some numbnut would try eating it and sue the company!!!! Phil X is the fourth best thing to have come from Canada, after Rush that is!!!

well im not phil but I think your looking for either a les paul or a sg. Or you could look for a hamer. Hamers are rare but they have killer tone and are quite the find if you can get your hands on one. Thats what I play and it's amazing. You might also be pleasantly surprised by a les paul jr or a les paul special.

i would think they had is refinished in the 80's, at least i hope, as the values of these guitars was nothing compared to their value today. if it was refinished recently, then yeah, the previous owner was a dumba ass...

Whoever got that Strat refinished clearly has a whole in their frontal cortex. I really, really hope that this Master Luthier tried to convince this person that what they were doing was a mistake. I'm sorry, but I just felt a pang of loss in my chest when I saw that...Abomination.
