It's just different. It's a lot more straight out rock whereas EV and Lullabies have a little more complexity to them. If you like those two albums you'll love this one though.

Uh, I loved Era because it was balanced and the hidden tracks were great, Deaf was good because it had Go with the flow, no one knows, and Lanegan's awesome voice.

And self titled had great riffs, it's a tie between those 3.
