@pyramidheadkitten9 yea but, you do know what happened do u? the bengal tiger went extinct in 2048. there were reports of massive deforistations in brazil. the ozone hole is growing. i would rather live alone in the wild than live in a world where the only living thing are humans
This scene really should have been left in, theres so much added depth to Jake in these 4 minutes, so much about it makes his transition to a Na'vi warrior that much more understandable and fulfilling, and it makes the trip to pandora that much more......... organic, and satisfying.
Cameron made the same mistake when he did The Abyss, he cut out the wave scene from the theatrical version taking out the amazing climax, and ended the film to quickly.
But the most important thing it does is clearly show the humans desperation to mine Pandora at any cost: Because they are trying to save the dying Earth.
I don't know the title of the track. It was on YouTube about two months ago, but I can't find the link now. It's probably still up, but there thousands of search results for "Avatar James Horner"
@CameronFanSite the track is under the name "Outtake 2" in the "Recording Sessions" Disc Set. Don't know if you can find it on youtube :p but i didn't knew that it belong's to the earth scenes, i'm looking forward to the colloector's Edition in November :)
cyberpunk streets? neon signs? steam rising from buildings for no reason? crazy hobo fights? fuck those faggy ass Naxi, this is my kind of earth.

I would've loved some cyberpunk themes in that movie. I hope they show some more of this in the sequels.

nice find man...that would have been amazing if the deleted scene is in the dvd

Yeah, I found it already.
I'm wondering if these scenes will be incorporated back into an extended cut on the blu-ray or they'll just be there as deleted scenes.
