This is Rift, a game composed of the best parts of every MMO known to man, woman, beast, and child. It is a game to be respected. I, being an avid World of Warcraft player (I have 5 85s to prove it), know the different aspects of the game and find Rift to be a much more rewarding experience.

Now, all I am saying is that every game deserves a fair chance and that Rift has gained my favor. I understand paying 15 bucks a month creates "loyalty" but come on. Grow up.

Aion was really fun for about 3-4 months but by the time you realize it has no depth in character customization ...well i got bored. If you dont care about clever char builds and like spamming 20 different skills without any kind of thinking (only with minor exceptions) then play aion. If you like to feel like your char is YOUR char then aply rift. Rift > Aion

I've gotta say - the game looks really really nice with your graphics card. I always had to set mine to low, which was alright, but meant that some of the sexier effects that gave the game it's overall "wow" factor were lost on me :(

@TheycallmeYUGO as far as i've played the pvp in rift is possibly the best i've encountered so far in an mmo. There are some problems with balance of healer classes and by the time you get 50 you can just forget about pvp until you get epic gear...other than that rift rules. (btw i quit rift because of the gear thing but i guess if you got some patience it gets even cooler later on)

Go back to WoW, this game lacks content bigtime! In months to come it might get better but there is no reason to start over with this game unless you want to get to lvl 50 and run 2 instances.

@HarvestrX wtf, there is enough endgame content, there are just a few raidguilds, because many people still can't handle t2 instances. There are 5 t1 Instances, 5 t2 Instances, wich are a lot of fun, then there are 3 Raids. Greenscale, River of Souls and the new 10 men raids....

I play this game for two months now, and there is still a lot to do...

i was getting 30fps in WoW, in rift i get roughly 3-10 fps and that on low settings with gamebooster. so if u are running low settings or close to....rift might be to much for your computer. i meet min requirements. but i need a better video card

is the game playable with 30 FPS? In WoW, thats just too laggy..

@stihak91 30 FPS is only during massive invasions with 30-40 characters on the screen or during those massive zergs. Also after about 27 FPS the "lag" is more of an aesthetic thing and less of a major factor. Though less enjoyable you can easily play at 20-25 FPS and do ok.

Regardless, most of the time I'm getting around 50 but I limit fraps to capture 30 so the files aren't massive.
