@Budsmokee You're a moron. Thats the recoil spring. An M4 has one too, in the buffer tube (what the stock is attached to). Its bigger than the AK's spring. Semi Automatic rifles kind of need those to function.....

@lastopher7 you will never see a ak jam except if its a semi and you get a little trigger happy and manage to get a casing stuck halfway out the gun. can you say the same on a ar? why doesnt the ak need a assistor for loading it? the ak was designed to be sloppy thats why it works so well
