I have the M5 with black background - definitely to be avoided due to difficulty reading in some light conditions. Get the one with the traditional light background and black text.
A general minus for all such watches - integrated straps which cannot be swappped for just any strap you might like. Definitely a minus in many plastic watches. Why don't the watch makers stick with traditional lug widths and interchange possibilities?
But size 40 *is* a man's watch size! Look at watches from the 1950s to 1970s. Much smaller. And the heart monitor "around the waist". No! It goes around the chest of course. And it should be said that the chest-band's sensor areas must be moistened before fitting to the chest. And I think the log data should be storeable locally on one's own laptop, as well as at MoveCount.
Thank you for the review, generally I like it. I would welcome more screens on watches like showing values during training, training plan, pasted trainings and so on. I think the watches support these functions. Otherwise great review :)

pretty cool, nice, pretty good but you don't even show it. if you want to talk, it's better to write a review somewhere else

I'm also curious as to why wouldn't you wear it as a daily wear watch?

Nice review, but please hold the watch still. You talk with your hands and shake the watch all over the place.

great watch, but not really unisex, rather a HRM for women

I use my T3 as an everyday watch. I personally would have no problem with the M5 as an everyday watch. JMO.

@trenchdigger17 I also have a t3D as an everyday watch....does your get scratched easily? im thinking of using only for sports
jujuzac 11 months ago
@jujuzac Yes. Polywatch takes the scratches out. Available through Suunto.

Yes, I had it as well. Great inside and shitty glass. That is why I ended with Polar.

When would you advice the M5 and when the T3/T4? What are the key differences?
