1) Mort always had real topics on his show. Jeeze, the opening montage splatters you with topics of the day…1980’s.
2) No bouncers. Mort ALWAYS kept a tight fist when it came to control of his show. Hell Yeah, there was lots of #*%@! shouting, but I don’t think this made it a “trash” TV show. Again, his topics were always “Real”.

It's amazing how similar Steve Austin's demeanor and attitude were to that of Davide Schultz! Both seemed pissed off 24/7 and had a lot of the same characteristics in the way they spoke. Austin was at his most intense in late '96 and '97 From around the time he did the angle where he broke into Brian Pillman's house and Pillman pulled a real gun on him.

Anyone who has even the most limited knowledge knows the rumors about Vince and Pat Patterson. Many wrestlings have made claims that both Vince and Pat are gay/bi-sexual. I interviewed Kamala and he stated that the brooklyn brawler is gay and that is the reason why he still works for the WWE

@1980Triumph Jeff he is facing a trial for drug possestion they fired him over (released him from his contract) it so he went to TNA. After the Beniot thing their testing policy has gotten pretty stringent as they are under a pretty big microscope. But you are partially right , They wanted to test Scott Steiner (pre benoit) and he said "sure but only if you test Hunter at the same time" so they let the matter drop
Jeff could be facing some serious jail time if convicted by the way.

John Stossel on his special got trained in 1 day and made a good wrestler. In 1992 the steroid and sex scandal broke for Vince then Billy Graham shut up when he got into the farce of a "hall of fame". Wrestling has and always will be a work just like the WWE's wellness policy. Everything Wilson says has been exposed. Steve Austin stole his gimmic from Schultz.

@STEALTH872003 yes, it was Barnett. He approached Wilson during a tour of Australia, Wilson said "no" and he went to the bottom of the card as a job boy. Wilson returned to Georgia Championship Wrestling to get back on track, but Barnett would be brought in to save GCW during the Georgia Promotion war. Once Barnett was in, Wilson was done for.

He alleged he was kept at jobber status because he wouldn't succumb to the advances of the gay promoter. In response Schultz claimed Wilson was gay. Schultz was fired from two promotions, so he couldn't have been that much of a draw. Patterson was a bigger draw than Schultz. Wilson and Patterson were vindicated when the truth ultimately came out.

This whole controversal debate over if Pro Wrestling is fake or not. The truth is that, yes there are fake parts of it but you must be athletic to be a prowrestler and you cannot fake falling off a twelve foot ladder or going through a flamming table. Even if it is fake you don't go to the theatre and yell "No this is fake! They didn't really kill him! This is stupid!" and no human can memorize every move in a match!
