  • I think this is my favorite racing game, because the physics felt so real. The NFS series never felt right for some reason. Maybe it was just me, though.

  • @eboing I think I know what you mean, though I would never say that Motorhead felt very real! :) Particularly the car's behaviour when you push it too far and skid. I did play NFS 2 SE as a kid probably around the same sort of time and I did very much prefer the feel of Motorhead, though driving XJ220s , McLaren F1s and concept cars on NFS was pretty awesome...

  • @ieh89 You're right, I guess real isn't the word, but it seemed much closer than NFS. I always felt like the NFS cars were super heavy or something, they were always sliding all over the place. In Motorhead, the cars stuck to the road until the car leaned past a threshold, then would slide like crazy. I think that makes sense :P

  • @eboing Yup, and what more could you want from an arcade style racing game? If you've never tried it, I highly recommend trying to complete all divisions using either the Adder Mk2 or ASC cars - it's hella fun. You quickly learn which tracks the AI is actually half decent at too. I use the Python V12 (?, the one in the video, anyway) when necessary but it's possible not to and still make it to the final race using keyboard controls.
